For years, Letitia “Big Tish” James strutted around New York like she was literally the law. She built her brand on one thing and one thing only: destroying President Trump. Every headline, every press conference, every self-righteous speech that came flowing out of her mouth revolved around that singular obsession.

But now, karma’s finally showing up and has clocked in for some much-needed overtime. The same woman who weaponized her office for political showmanship is suddenly finding herself on the wrong end of subpoenas, judges, and federal investigations, and it’s truly glorious to watch unfold.

Ironically, after literally making “GET TRUMP” her personal life slogan, the woman who defrauded mortgage companies and allowed her thug family to live in her homes is now trying to claw her way out of real trouble by claiming she’s been “targeted.”


But here’s where things get interesting.

Big Tish isn’t just dealing with that Virginia mortgage fraud mess that has already landed her in serious legal hot water. There’s a whole new storm brewing.

According to unsealed court documents, James is also fighting a federal criminal probe over her “selective enforcement” of cases… the same selective justice she accused everyone else of practicing. It’s poetic in the best and worst way. The DOJ is now looking into how she used her power against Trump’s business and the NRA, and whether or not her crusade was more about politics than the actual law.

And the best part is that this isn’t coming from conservative sources or right-wing wishful thinking. It’s real, on the record, and already unfolding in the courts. That’s why Big Tish can’t spin her way out of this one. When judges start calling out her games, and the DOJ starts snooping through her files, the walls start closing in real fast.

As we mentioned earlier, now that Trump’s back in the White House, her legal team is already playing the “political retaliation” card… but that won’t go far when there’s real evidence of her selective prosecution.

If this probe picks up steam, and all signs point to yes, Big Tish’s “Trump takedown legacy” could end in a jail cell of her own.

James’s opposition to the DOJ’s subpoenas centers on alleged “retaliation by the Executive Branch, issues of state sovereignty and the purported improper appointment of the Northern District’s Acting U.S. Attorney,” the judge wrote.

In an Oct. 15 motion, James’s attorneys stated Trump failed to press claims of “selective prosecution, retaliation, and bad faith” during his trial.

“Now that he has returned to the Oval Office and placed his personal lawyers at the highest levels of DOJ, President Trump is using the grand jury subpoena power to target the Office of the New York State Attorney General (‘OAG’),” attorneys for her office wrote in the unsealed filing. “In that way, the Executive Branch seeks to transform a personal grievance, which failed as civil claims, into a federal criminal prosecution—a plain and calculated campaign to harass a law enforcement agency that held Mr. Trump and his Organization to account.”

The DOJ’s citation of an opinion by a dissenting judge in that case who highlighted James’ political motives is not enough to justify a subpoena, James’s attorneys argued.

Moreover, they claim the U.S. attorney’s “improper appointment invalidates the subpoenas.”

“The Executive Branch has repeatedly endeavored to give handpicked lawyers the vast powers of U.S. Attorneys without the inconvenience of Senate confirmation,” her attorneys wrote. “But Congress did not craft such a carefully constructed vacancy scheme only to allow the Attorney General to choose whomever she wants, whenever she wants, to serve as an acting or de facto U.S. Attorney.”

James is learning what happens when you spend years turning justice into a political contact sport. Eventually those same moves will snap back in your face. I guess Big Tish never heard of the very real #TrumpCurse.

Meanwhile, last night, when the dutiful “60 Minutes” media puppets went into battle mode during their interview with the President of the United States, acting as if President Trump was out for vengeance, he was ready for them.

The walls are closing in, the media spin is wearing thin, and the Justice Department is no longer on her side. If Davis is right, and the indictments are just the appetizer, then the main course is going to be one hell of a meal.
