The American left loves to preach about compassion, reform, and “racial justice.” But when you take away the slogans and hashtags, all you have left is a pile of lies and a lifetime of chaos. For years, Dems have been coddling criminals, handcuffing police, and rewriting laws to protect thugs under the false banner of “equity.” And while elites pat themselves on the back for their amazing virtue, innocent people keep getting slaughtered in the streets.

And the latest one of these “soft-on-crime” nightmares unfolded with the murder of 21-year-old congressional intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym. Eric’s murder is a brutal reminder of what happens when a government decides to put the needs of criminals over everyday citizens. Eric was an innocent bystander who was gunned down in DC during yet another “turf fight.” Three suspects have now been charged…  all of them teens and two of them brothers, but the story only gets darker from there.

But before we get into this specific case, let’s zoom out for a second, because this isn’t just about one city, one judge, or even one gang. It’s about the warped moral foundation that made this type of “pro-crime” America a very real situation. It’s an actual movement, and it began over a decade ago with a book that quietly convinced guilt-ridden white, left-wing elites that criminals aren’t responsible for their actions… society is.

Back in 2010, civil rights lawyer Michelle Alexander published The New Jim Crow… this was a book that would go on to radicalize an entire generation of left-wing academics, judges, and politicians. Its message was simple: America’s criminal justice system is just modern-day racism wearing a badge. Laws are racist, police are racist, and locking up violent offenders is oppression. We covered this story recently.

Most people think the left’s obsession with “racial justice” in policing started with George Floyd. It didn’t. That was just the match thrown on an already blazing bonfire that really started to take shape many years ago. The groundwork for dismantling America’s criminal justice system was laid over a decade earlier, back in 2010, with a book that quietly reprogrammed an entire generation of Democrats.

In it, Ms. Alexander argued that America had replaced segregation with a new system of racial control… mass incarceration. Her theory claimed that after the civil rights movement ended, the justice system itself became the tool to keep racial hierarchies intact. “Felon” was the new “N-word.” Laws were just another disguise for discrimination.

That book was The New Jim Crow, and it did a number on our country, and most of you have probably never even heard of it.

This is straight out of the Marxist 101 handbook.

But Ms. Alexander made it all sound so deep and profound. Like all things “radical,” the book was packaged as compassion. But in reality, it was the intellectual trigger that unleashed a wave of soft-on-crime insanity that’s still wrecking left-wing cities today.

Professors taught it. Judges quoted it. Activists built entire platforms on it. And suddenly, criminal behavior wasn’t criminal anymore; it was “systemic oppression.”

That’s how we ended up with Soros-backed DAs dropping charges, violent offenders getting released on bail, and politicians openly calling to “reimagine” policing. The entire “Defund the Police” movement started in the pages of that book. It is quite literally the manifesto that convinced the left that crime is never a choice, only a symptom of something racist.

2010s ‘New Jim Crow’ Book was the blueprint for dismantling America’s justice system…

That book became gospel for liberal elites. Professors taught it, judges quoted it, and politicians built entire campaigns around it. Suddenly, criminals weren’t criminals anymore… they were “victims of the system.”

And now we’re living in the fallout. Soros-funded DAs won’t prosecute. Judges give violent offenders probation. “Juvenile reform” means letting known gangbangers back on the street.

That brings us back to this latest story from The Swamp… the belly of the beast… where this type of pro-crime mentality has found a home.

Here’s some background on the murder of that congressional staffer and another innocent teen, who was also murdered thanks to one of these bloodthirsty hooligans.

AP) – A third suspect has been arrested and charged with the killing of a congressional intern in the nation’s capital, a crime that President Donald Trump cited when he announced a law enforcement surge in Washington.

Naqwan Antonio Lucas, 18, has been indicted with first-degree murder and 15 other charges for the killing of Eric Tarpinian-Jachym of Granby, Massachusetts. Lucas pleaded not guilty on Thursday.

Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, died a day after he was struck by stray bullets near Washington’s Mount Vernon Square the night of June 30.

Authorities last month arrested two 17-year-old suspects in the shooting, Kelvin Thomas Jr. and Jailen Lucas. They were charged as adults for first-degree murder while armed.

Prosecutors said Naqwan Lucas and Jailen Lucas are brothers.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said last month that Tarpinian-Jachym was an “innocent bystander” who wasn’t an intended target of the gunfire.

Pirro’s office said he was hit when three armed suspects left a stolen vehicle and began firing shots at two young men. Tarpinian-Jachym was shot four times. Five other people also were assaulted or injured.

Naqwan Lucas faces a second indictment for allegedly killing 17-year-old Zoey Kelly on July 4. Kelly was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head inside a storage container wrapped in bedding in a bedroom closet, prosecutors said.

Naqwan Lucas also pleaded not guilty to these charges. His attorney, Steven Kiersh, did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

Surveillance video helped investigators identify the three suspects, police said.

Trump mentioned Tarpinian-Jachym’s killing — but not his name — during an Aug. 11 news conference where he announced a federal intervention for a “public safety emergency” in the District of Columbia.

Keep in mind, Eric’s killer, Naqwan Lucas, wasn’t some mystery figure. He was a known criminal. So were his teenage sidekicks. And yet, the system kept letting them walk free until two innocent people… Eric and that 17-year-old girl named Zoey Kelley… ended up dead.

And that’s exactly what set off US Attorney Jeanine Pirro. After years of watching these liberal “reformers” turn cities into war zones, she’s finally had enough, and thankfully, she’s in the position to do something about it.

Judge Jeanine is exposing what every DC insider already knows… these “juvenile offenders” aren’t misunderstood kids. These are cold-blooded repeat offenders, fully aware that this new “pro-crime” system will protect them. And while the DC Council cries about “fairness,” normal, everyday Americans are being buried.

And nobody captures that heartbreak better than Eric’s own mother. While the media obsesses over protesters and political games, this grieving mom is calling out the left’s warped priorities, straight to their faces.
