There are bad people in this world, and then there’s Connie Bobo, who really takes the cake.

Connie is the Missouri “charity boss” behind another grift-giving business called New Heights Community Resource Center. The center was supposed to be helping feed starving, low-income kids.

Instead, prosecutors say Queen Bobo spent nearly $11 million in taxpayer money on herself and her boyfriend. She let kids starve so she could live like some quasi Queen Latifah.

She bought mansions, luxury goods, made real estate deals, and purchased an unbelievably gaudy bright yellow Mercedes G-Wagon for her boyfriend.

New York Post:

A Missouri charity boss swiped nearly $11 million meant for food-starved, low-income kids and blew it on lavish items such as mansions and a flashy yellow Mercedes for her boyfriend, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Connie Bobo, 46, who ran the New Heights Community Resource Center in Bridgeton, allegedly claimed she had spent $20 million of the federally allocated taxpayer money to feed the children between February 2019 to March 2022.

But she actually spent less than half of those “meal reimbursement” funds on food — instead plunking down big bucks on real estate and “luxury goods,” and giving her romantic partner $1.4 million, according to prosecutors. [She bought] a mansion for herself, houses for her family and a bright yellow Mercedes for her boyfriend,” Assistant US Attorney Jonathan Clow told jurors at her fraud trial Tuesday. “As her lies were discovered, the defendant used forged documents to try and cover up her crimes,” he said, according to stltoday.com

In total, Bobo bought seven properties, including a nearly $1 million mansion for herself in St. Charles, according to her federal indictment, filed in October 2023.

Here are even more details on this disturbing case:

Donnie Cope:

#BREAKING: Charity boss allegedly stole $10 million in taxpayer dollars to fund extravagant lifestyle including luxury assets, real estate & romantic lovers.

46-year-old Connie Bobo – the executive director of the New Heights Community Resource Center – is facing allegations of embezzling approximately $10 million from federal programs designed to provide meals for low-income children.

Over her decade-long tenure at the Missouri based organization, Bobo enrolled New Heights in two U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded initiatives that reimburse nonprofits for distributing food to children in need.

According to prosecutors, between February 2019 and March 2022, Bobo submitted fraudulent reimbursement claims to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, claiming that the organization served meals to nearly 6 million children.

However, the non-profit only purchased enough food to serve less than three million meals – meaning that she received an overpayment of about $11 million in federal (taxpayer) funds.

The indictment alleges that Bobo then took the overpayment and spent it on luxury assets and real estate including:

👉A $1 million mansion in St. Charles County – plus four other properties in the same county for her relatives
👉$2.2 million in a commercial real estate venture
👉$1.4 million funneled to her romantic partner, Howard Hughes III, who used $212,000 to buy a Mercedes G-Wagon

Prosecutors say that as her scheme unraveled, Bobo tried to hide the theft by forging documents, including listing family members and friends as board members of New Heights.

Dacia Betts, a former friend of Bobo’s, testified during the trial that she didn’t know that she had been named vice president of the nonprofit until contacted by the FBI.

Bobo’s defense attorney argued that Bobo did not intentionally steal the money.

The defense claimed that Bobo made efforts to fix any issues before her arrest and that her actions were driven by a desire to serve the community and contribute positively.

Bobo owned the Infinite Wisdom Early Childhood Center, a daycare facility. After her indictment in October 2023, a court order prohibited her from accessing any personal or financial information related to the daycare.

However, in August 2024, prosecutors discovered that Bobo allegedly remained the leaseholder for the facility and continued to control its financial accounts, violating the court’s order.

That’s when the judge revoked her bond.

When FBI agents arrived to arrest her, Bobo reportedly refused to cooperate, leading to a nearly two-hour standoff. Law enforcement had to break through the front door and arrest her as she was trying to escape.

Bobo faces five federal charges: three counts of wire fraud, one count of aggravated identity theft, and one count of obstruction of an official proceeding.

Three weeks before the trial, prosecutors offered her a plea deal, which she rejected.

Sadly, this is the perfect snapshot of modern DEI corruption: public money meant for hungry children ending up as a down payment on some wannabe “Queen Latifah” lifestyle of vanity and greed.

This is becoming part of a national trend of black women behaving badly… an issue we highlighted last year.

Revolver:

What’s happening with black women in America? Some are rising to power thanks to the DEI movement, which rewards skin color, gender, and sexual preference over merit, experience, or excellence. However, the problem arises once those women who are not qualified are placed in positions of power and leadership, where they often quickly crash and burn. From embezzling $15 million in COVID funds to engaging in shameless plagiarism, these meritless women have demonstrated that they are not up to the task and struggle with the responsibilities they’ve been given. Naturally, they revert to what they know best: lying, cheating, and stealing. The whole situation is unfair to those black women in this country who succeed based on merit, honesty, and hard work to be lumped in with the large mass of meritless DEI incompetents.

“Black women behaving badly” has become a national pastime that can no longer be ignored. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most infamous cases of black women in leadership roles behaving badly.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett:

Texas Rep. Jasmine Crocket is bringing the “hood” to Capitol Hill. She has single-handedly infused “yass queen” vibes into US lawmaking. Gone are the days of respectable decorum and old-fashioned professionalism, now replaced by mile-long fake eyelashes, neon acrylic nails, and a head-bob that screams, “Oh no, you didn’t!”

Wikipedia says Crockett was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Mary Institute, St. Louis Country Day School, and Rosati-Kain, an all-girls Catholic high school in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Rhodes College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration. As an undergraduate, Crockett planned to become an anesthesiologist or certified public accountant before deciding to attend law school, which she stated was due to experiencing a hate crime while attending college.

The low-IQ left adores Jasmine’s dumbed-down “hoodrat” act. Meanwhile, the rest of the country watches, confused and concerned. What are we becoming… a nation of fools or fighters?”

Black women behaving badly has become a national trend…

At this point, you’d have to be out of your mind to trust most so-called “charities.” They’ve turned into breeding grounds for DEI grifters like Connie Bobo… a woman handed millions in taxpayer dollars to feed hungry kids, who instead used it to play “Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous” with her boyfriend.

If there’s any justice left in this country, Connie will spend the rest of her life eating prison food instead of stealing from starving kids.
