Take a look at this video clip of the Moscow Metro. What do you notice first? You might be surprised by the beautiful Christmas decorations; it’s quite unexpected to see such a celebration of a Christian holiday inside a subway train. Another thing that stands out is the well-dressed, polite, and respectful passengers. There’s no uncivilized behavior like public defecation or any acts of violence or assault. How odd, right? And bonus: these days, Russia is even less “communist” than Biden’s disgraceful USA.

Meanwhile, in New York City, taking the subway can feel like a crapshoot on whether you’ll arrive safely at your destination. Contrary to what the mainstream propaganda media might claim, these subways are not “safer than ever before.” In fact, it’s quite the opposite.

The New York Post:

This year, six people have lost their lives to violence on New York City subways: a man pushed to Manhattan tracks in January, a teen shot at a Bronx station in April, three people stabbed in three separate Brooklyn and Manhattan incidents in spring and summer and Jordan Neely, put in a chokehold on a Manhattan train in May as he threatened other riders.

Two of these killings — both stabbings in Brooklyn — are recorded as justified homicides, as the stabbers acted in self-defense against aggressive attackers. (Neely’s may end up on this list as well.)

Maintaining an orderly environment on the trains, as New York used to do, would have prevented this loss of life.

Six homicides this year means we’ll probably end 2023 better than we did 2022, which had 11 homicides, a level not seen in nearly three decades. That follows seven homicides each in 2020 and 2021.

From 1997 to 2019, the subways saw just one or two homicides each year.

So we’re nowhere near back to normal.

That’s true with all violent felonies, including rape, robbery and assault.

We’ve seen 825 violent felonies through September, new MTA data show. Yes, that’s down 6% from last year.

But it’s still up 26% from 2019.

Factor in lower ridership, and you’re twice as likely to become a victim of violence compared with 2019: nearly one in 1 million subway rides today, from one in 2 million four years ago.

Meanwhile, the Moscow Metro is safe, well-lit, clean, and downright beautiful.

Trip Advisor:

They are well lit, and safe. Do not be afraid to ride the metros in Moscow. They are extremely efficient, and you will not wait more than 2 min for a train. The metros themselves are clean, air conditioned, and they have WIFI.

Look at the difference between NYC subways and Moscow. The Moscow Metro looks like a museum, and people respect its beauty and history.

And now New York, which is exactly how you’d expect a liberal-run hellhole to look:

You can’t ride a New York subway without risking your safety.

Look at the difference between China’s subways and America’s:

About 8 months ago, Revolver published a viral piece on subways around the world that put the US to absolute shame.

We encourage you to check it out:

We Found Photos of Ten Subways Around the Globe That Show Just How Far America Has Fallen

Sadly, we’ve been conditioned to view Russia and other countries as if they’re prehistoric relics, stuck in the shadows of the past. However, the reality is quite different. While many of these countries boast clean and safe public transportation, in America, using a bus or metro train can sometimes feel like risking life and limb. We’ve been lied to, and as the “greatest country in the world,” we should not only act like it, but we should look like it, too, and right now, we don’t do either.
