If Kamala Harris thought she’d enjoy a smooth political coronation after her sidekick Joe bowed out, she was sadly mistaken. Not only are many Dems bad-mouthing her behind the scenes, but she’s also struggling to garner support in public. Recently, a prominent left-wing voice took to X to explain why he won’t be supporting Kamala Harris. And he did so without taking the easy potshots or trashing that are understandably common right now. His name is Deon Joseph, and he’s a popular left-winger and author.  He’s also a black man, and that matters a lot since many believe most straight black males aren’t so keen on the Queen of Cackle, since she spent her career locking many of them up.

And that is one reason Deon refuses to support Kamala, as he explained in his lengthy X post.

Deon Joseph:

I’m going to make my stance abundantly clear.

I don’t care who she slept with. Don’t care about her laugh, I am not going to dehumanize her or disrespect her based on her personal life. Who doesn’t have a past and she is grown. Don’t care if she is too Black for some and not Black enough for others.

My decision not to even consider her is based solely on the following:

– She created a bail fund for rioters in 2020 who destroyed cities to push a politics agenda. That is terrorism and she helped them skate instead of condemning them.

– She supported two propositions in CA that exacerbated crime and made it incredibly difficult to for law enforcement to stop crime. As well as No Cash Bail, even against the will of California voters. Which also put Californians in danger.

– She was tasked with solving the border crisis. She only went to the border because she was pressured and all she did was peek at it to find “root causes”. Which is progressive code for “I ain’t gonna do 💩 about this.”

– She engages in race baiting and fear mongering. Which lets me know she has zero solutions to the many issues American’s are facing right now.
– She is even farther left than Joe Biden.

That’s why. I don’t believe she is ready to lead and her politics will slide America further down the crapper.

Not because she is a woman. I would gladly and without pause vote for a woman for president. Some of the greatest leaders I ever worked for were women. Just can’t vote for this one because of who she, is not her gender.

Has nothing to do with her race. I’m always proud when I see Black people elevate. I don’t just want any Black person. I don’t care about color when it comes to leadership. I just want the leader best capable to lead.

Elon Musk read this post, and agreed. He responded with one word: “Yup.”

Speaking of Black men not supporting Kamala Harris, there’s such a prevailing theory floating around out there, that someone has compiled a thread of liberals expressing concern that straight Black men will never rally behind a Harris 2024 ticket.

However, Kamala’s problems aren’t just limited to black guys, she’s also got big problems with left-wing donors, too.

According to the New York Times, the call included roughly 300 donors, and “several listeners said they found the meeting overall to be of little value and even, at times, condescending, believing that the message ignored donors’ legitimate concerns about the Biden-led ticket.”

Kamala Harris reportedly spoke for just over five minutes via video, focused on criticizing Donald Trump for his convention speech, and tried to link him to Project 2025. She only briefly mentioned Joe Biden but did not take questions. Harris emphasized that Trump’s speech was a distraction from his record and the significance of the election. While some listeners found her delivery strong, it did little to reassure them.

In fact, some seemed to find the entire call insulting.

After the call, one group that had promoted it in advance apologized to its members for having done so.

“Not surprisingly, there was no news generated on this call, and instead, it was a pitch for donors to continue to invest in groups on the ground who are working to defeat Donald Trump,” read an email from Corridor Partners, which advises donors focused on climate issues. “The vice president spoke very briefly and encouraged us all to keep working hard to win in November.”

The email, which was viewed by The New York Times, added, “The call was not productive, and we wanted to apologize to each of you who joined for sharing that invitation.”
Before Kamala Harris joined the call, leaders from progressive groups like Somos Votantes raised concerns that discussions about Joe Biden’s viability were damaging their efforts and not aligning with voters’ priorities, such as the economy. They believed there was a disconnect between elite opinions and those of the general public. However, after Harris finished speaking, one participant, who was accidentally unmuted, described the call as “ludicrous.”

It seems the entire Democrat Party is crumbling, and Kamala can’t muster the support she needs to cross the finish line. But make no mistake, no matter who challenges Kamala or for what legitimate reasons—whether it’s donors or left-wing politicians—the media and liberal women are likely to point fingers at straight black men for her demise.
