A new military mess out of the Middle East is raising more questions online, and this time the debate is not just about what happened in the air. It is about what might be happening inside the U.S. military with incompetent women.

CENTCOM reported that three U.S. warplanes were accidentally shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses. Thankfully, all six aircrew members safely ejected and are in stable condition.

Those are the facts as we know them.

But as with all things in the social media age, the official facts are usually just the starting point.

Within hours, armchair posters began digging into the details, looking for something that might tell a bigger, more truthful story.

One X poster in particular raised a theory that has started to circulate for good reason.

And that’s where the new theory comes into play.

Thad offered his own interpretation of what might be going on behind the scenes based on patterns he believes he is seeing.

In simple terms, his theory is this: he thinks the numbers look off.

The F-15E has two seats. The pilot up front flies the jet, while the weapons systems officer (WSO) in the back handles targeting and ordnance. In the recent shootdowns, two of the WSOs were women. Based on the relatively small number of female aviators, he thinks something’s up.

He’s wondering if the military is funneling some women who don’t make it through pilot training into WSO roles instead of keeping the pipeline strictly merit-based.

In other words: DEI.

Thad:

Interesting side anecdote is that of the three F-15E Strike Eagles shot down in Kuwait, either by Iranian forces or by Kuwaiti “friendly fire” using Patriot missile batteries (official story but I have my doubts), two have had female aviators but not pilots. The strike eagle is a dual cockpit plane, front is the the pilot who controls plane and the guns and air to air missile, and the rear WSO (weapons system officer) who operates the targeting systems and the bombs/heavy ordinance. Two WSO’s shot down were women, which is unlikely with a random distribution of the numbers of female aviators, which leads me to believe that the US military is boosting females who fail pilot courses into WSO roles that don’t require the ability to fly a plane

If there’s even a sliver of truth to what this X poster is suggesting, there’s a big problem. It would mean the military is still shuffling roles to keep the DEI fires going. To hell with merit and mission readiness, right?

This DEI debate, especially surrounding the capability of women in these high-stress, dangerous positions, isn’t going anywhere, and it’s something we’ve covered often, from all different angles, starting with the tragedy at Bondi Beach, where female officers were seen cowering in fear as a mass shooter opened fire on the public.

Revolver:

The footage coming out of Australia is hard to watch. A violent Islamic terror attack happened during a public beach gathering celebrating Hanukkah.

It was total chaos, with bullets flying, people being shot, and others running for their lives, and in the middle of it all, many moments happened that have people talking, but there’s one disturbing detail emerging that has many people asking the same question: Is it finally time to end the failed “female cop” experiment? In the images making the rounds, female police officers appear to freeze or take cover and hide in fear during the terror attack.

Meanwhile, an unarmed male civilian risked his life and charged one of the attackers and wrestled away his gun. Yes, the scene was terrifying and chaotic. But these are the moments when we need heroes in charge, not frightened women. It’s totally understandable that women, and plenty of men too, would be scared stiff in that situation. But men are made differently.

When chaos hits, they’re far more likely to move toward danger, not away from it. The problem is, we’ve spent years pretending men and women are interchangeable in every role, under every condition, no matter how dangerous or fast-thinking the situation is. And that’s just not true. Women and men are wired differently. Period.

Women are better at a ton of things. But violent, split-second, life-or-death confrontations aren’t where most women thrive. Pretending otherwise doesn’t empower women. It puts them and everyone else in danger.

We need to be honest about how men and women perform differently when the pressure is sky-high and seconds matter.

And we’ve seen the frustration heat up when the system prioritizes ideology over clear, safe, excellent outcomes.

Revolver:

Lately, every time we turn around, another DEI soft-on-crime judge is making another dangerous ruling. This latest one is so bad that people are now asking: whose side is the justice system actually on? Clearly, it’s not the victim’s side.

Because when a teenage boy viciously attacks multiple girls, causes injuries so severe a doctor says one of them was seconds from death, and walks away with probation, something is seriously wrong.

[…]

This case exploded after details emerged about what Butler was actually convicted of and what punishment he avoided. According to reporting, Butler faced up to 78 years in prison for multiple sexual assaults involving two high school girls.

One victim required surgery for injuries to her neck. Another described repeated rape and strangulation. As we mentioned earlier, medical professionals said one of the attacks came within seconds of killing the poor girl.

Despite all of that, the court granted Butler “youthful offender” status and sentenced him to probation.

Insanity.

This is exactly why many Americans think DEI is a danger. Charity over excellence will always end in disaster.

And now, that’s the same concern about the military, aviation, and other fields where the margin for error is basically zero.

What happened in our next story is exactly why so many people are starting to question the common-sense logic behind the “girl power” movement.

Revolver:

Ten years after the New Year’s Eve mass sexual assaults in Cologne, Germany, shocked the world, a popular Twitch streamer, Kunshikitty, decided to return to the scene to make a point about “safety.” […] Now, in 2025, Kunshikitty’s goal wasn’t to investigate or question the globalist policies that have put women in grave danger.

And it certainly wasn’t to look honestly at what’s “changed” in Cologne over the past decade. Her goal was to traipse around and reassure women that the streets are safe and that concerns about migrant violence are overblown and driven by right-wing hysteria. Boy, did this plan backfire in the biggest way imaginable.

So, Kunshikitty went live, showing herself walking the streets of Cologne to prove in real-time how unnecessary the fear supposedly is… But instead of seeing some blissful holiday walkabout, viewers watched in horror as she was surrounded, harassed, and pelted with objects by groups of migrant men.

Basically, she was stoned in the streets of her own country.

Gee, Happy New Year, Germany…

Logically speaking, most sane people would not put themselves in obviously dangerous situations without serious preparation and support. But when women are constantly told they can do anything a man can do and maneuver through male spaces without batting an eye, this is what you get.

When you look at everything happening, you can see why Americans are worried that our most critical institutions have been destroyed by DEI.

This isn’t about whether men and women can serve with honor. Women absolutely have a place in the military. The real issue is whether leaders, who have been brainwashed in progressive politics, can still recognize that different strengths matter, especially in environments where mistakes can turn deadly in seconds.

The X poster’s theory could be right. Time and data will tell.
