Every few weeks, like clockwork, another so-called “civil war” breaks out on the right. It’s always framed as some moral emergency, some existential crisis that absolutely must be addressed right here and right now. And almost every time, when you peel back the layers, it’s the same story and the same people causing the divide. No, it’s not some organic grassroots outrage, and it’s never a real scandal. What it is, is power games, political positioning, and people trying to kneecap the parts of the right-wing movement they don’t control: MAGA.

That’s exactly what’s happening now. And this time, the Israel-first crowd, led by Mark Levin, is targeting popular MAGA populist Jack Posobiec, but they made a crucial mistake.

Jack Posobiec has been around long enough to know how this game is played. He’s not new at this. He didn’t just show up last week. He’s one of those guys who built trust the slow way, by showing up, taking heat, and staying consistent, even when it wasn’t fashionable or profitable to do so.

It’s worth noting that several days before the attacks against Jack started, he called out Mark Levin’s stepson for bringing a convicted traitor, Jonathan Pollard, to the US Embassy.

Is this why he suddenly became a target?

The latest attempt to smear Jack comes from a single photo. Jack posed for a picture with supporters, like he does all the time. One of the people in the photo was wearing a sweatshirt with the phrase “let ’em cook.”

According to the usual suspects, this photo proves Jack is harboring hatred against Jews and signaling something deeply sinister or is secretly aligned with “Nazi” views he’s never held. And if that sounds ridiculous, that’s because it is.

First off, “let ’em cook” is Gen Z slang. It’s everywhere online. It means let someone do what they’re good at. Let them shine. Don’t interrupt them when they’re in their zone. It’s basically the modern version of saying, “Let him do his thing.”

As a matter of fact, President Trump used that very phrase in his latest official White House post on TikTok.

Yes, it’s that popular of a phrase…

So even if Jack did notice the wording on the sweatshirt, there would be zero reason for him to think it was some kind of secret code, even with a Cookie Monster image baking his favorite treat. To someone like Jack, that wouldn’t register as a dog whistle.

Now this is where it gets esoteric. You probably aren’t familiar with this, but the Cookie Monster baking cookies goes back to an old Holocaust meme that carries anti-Jewish connotations. But that’s the point. This phrase and that image aren’t something most people over the age of 30 are sitting around decoding for hidden meanings while snapping quick photos in a crowded, chaotic setting.

The idea that Jack should be expected to read every word on every piece of clothing, interpret evolving internet slang and fringe memes, and then somehow decipher an alternate meaning most people would never even think of is absurd on its face.

And that’s why, when an agitator like Mark Levin once again jumps in and lights a match, you have to ask what’s really going on here.

Mark Levin:

Hey, Jack Posobiec, send me your address offline. I want to send you a new, big, beautiful rosary. I believe in prayer. I want you to pray and pray and do so as your beautiful faith teaches. I am all for it. I encourage it. God bless you for it.

Now, as for YOUR actual conduct that I and others find so appalling, will you own up to YOUR embrace of a self-identifying Islamist-Nazi with whom YOU took a photo when he was wearing a shirt symbolizing cooking Jews in ovens? It has been 3-days now. YOU have said nothing. That wasn’t right, was it Jack? Will YOU reject him and stop promoting Jew-hatred, for which YOU have a significant record? It shouldn’t be that tough, should it Jack? I seriously doubt that TPUSA and Human Events, both of which you work for, or people of faith and goodwill everywhere, think you should be conducting yourself this way. It’s time to get this behind you and join the civilized world. If you pray a little harder, I think you’ll see the light. I certainly hope so. God is very forgiving. He loves all of his children. And, if you do I, for one, will then happily shake your hand. You can do this, Jack.

Is this just another Tucker Carlson-style attack? Because it sure looks and feels that way, especially when you remember that Levin openly mocked Jack as a “crackpot” for holding up a rosary at Charlie Kirk’s memorial.

It’s interesting how easy it is for Levin to take shots at Catholics without a second thought. But if you criticize the Israeli government or even stand next to a random fan wearing some impossible-to-decipher fringe shirt, you’re instantly branded an anti-Semite and a “Jew hater,” case closed.

Election Wizard:

The day before the holiest night of the year in the Christian tradition, Mark Levin decided to launch a full-on attack against a fellow conservative for… holding up a rosary.

Yes, you read that right.

Jack Posobiec walked on stage at TPUSA with rosaries raised high, a bold, unapologetic declaration of faith in a culture that mocks Christianity daily.

Levin’s response?

He smeared Poso as a “crackpot.”

One day before Christmas Eve.

Does that really seem fair or reasonable to anyone?

This should be a red flag for anyone who actually cares about freedom of speech and freedom of religion in this country. Those protections don’t belong to one faith alone. They apply to all religions, including Catholics. And that’s where this thing really goes off the rails.

Levin treats his own religion as completely untouchable, to the point where you can’t even criticize a foreign government without being smeared as a “Nazi.” Yet he seems perfectly comfortable mocking Catholics without a second thought. That double standard matters. And it exposes the crucial mistake here…

This isn’t actually about defending faith or protecting religious respect. It’s about power and positioning, and it’s about making sure certain people and factions claw their way back into political relevance. Levin knows that if MAGA continues on its current path, that door stays shut.

Slammed shut.

We’re heading into 2026, the clock is ticking, and the old guard knows it. When they can’t win the argument, they go after the people who are the most popular. And right now, there’s an entire army of so-called “right wingers” on a mission to tear down Jack Posobiec.

It’s the exact same playbook that was used against Tucker Carlson. Everything gets taken out of context, half-truths get recycled, and vague, mysterious accusations are floated around to make someone seem untrustworthy or scandalous, even when there’s nothing there.

At the end of the day, Jack Posobiec is a husband, a father, and a devout Catholic. He’s someone who has been consistent about who he is and what he believes, long before it was convenient. It’s unfortunate that an agitator decided to exploit Jack’s unfamiliarity with fringe meme culture to try to smear him. It’s even more unfortunate that people who claim to be conservative were so quick to deny him the benefit of the doubt and jump headfirst into yet another right-wing witch hunt.

Somehow, we’ve arrived at a place where questioning the Israeli government makes you an anti-Semite, standing next to a stranger wearing a shirt most normal people wouldn’t even register makes you a “Jew hater,” and supporting Tucker Carlson turns you into the second coming of Hitler. That’s the kind of stuff the left does, and watching it happen on the right is deeply troubling. We’re a movement that’s supposed to reject the liberal playbook, not copy it almost word for word.

At some point, people need to stop, take a breath, and ask what’s really going on here. Is this kind of agenda healthy for the movement? And is it wise to let figures like Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro, who only recently and begrudgingly decided to support President Trump, position themselves as the ones who get to police MAGA and decide who belongs?
