The cracks in the “Israel First” wall are starting to show, and that’s exactly why the smear machine is in overdrive trying to take out Tucker Carlson for daring to criticize a government. Tucker wasn’t attacking Jewish people; he was questioning the Israeli government. And that’s the key point. There’s nothing wrong with calling out a government, whether it’s our own, Israel’s, or Vietnam’s. Americans send billions overseas and fight wars tied to foreign interests; we have every right to ask questions, demand accountability, and call out bad policy without being branded “antisemitic” or told we’re “Nazis.”

Granted, Levin’s also fuming because Tucker interviewed a controversial figure named Nick Fuentes. Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro are acting like he’s the second coming of Hitler, while the left’s hyping him up like he’s the next Charlie Kirk. Both takes are ridiculous. Tucker’s an American journalist; he can talk to whoever he wants, controversial or not, and he shouldn’t be “canceled” by factions on the right for doing his job.

But make no mistake, the tension between Levin and Tucker started when Tucker began openly criticizing the Israeli government. And anyone who does that gets the same treatment every time: they’re called antisemitic, labeled a Nazi, and hailed as “literally Hitler.”

After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, plenty of voices from the Israel First crowd tried to justify “canceling” Tucker by claiming that even Charlie was trying to distance himself from him.

There’s zero evidence of that. In fact, there’s proof they were closer than ever and even saw eye to eye on some of the so-called “controversial” issues.

And that’s where Megyn Kelly comes in. She just dropped a short behind-the-scenes video that appears to back up a story Tucker shared about an exchange he had with Charlie Kirk. Tucker explains that during a chat about calling out Israel’s government, Charlie told him to “go max” on the issue. Turns out, Megyn was there that day, and when she went digging for a photo, she found video of the exact moment.

Collin Rugg:

NEW: Megyn Kelly releases a short video clip of Charlie Kirk apparently telling Tucker Carlson to “go max” on the Israel topic at a TPUSA event.

The video appears to confirm Carlson’s previous claim that Kirk told him to “go all the way” on Epstein and Israel.

“I was recently going through some old pictures to find one of me and Charlie that I knew we took at that event.”

“Not only did I find pictures of me and Charlie, but I found a video of me, Tucker, and Charlie speaking backstage right before Tucker went out.”

“You can hear him on this tape, which I’ve listened to many times. It’s very clear on my phone … But he says to Tucker, ‘Go Max.'”

What Megyn shared seems to line up with what Tucker described, and it adds an interesting layer to the story. Again, this isn’t about hating anyone; it’s about the basic idea that questioning a foreign government shouldn’t be off-limits. If it’s fair to criticize Washington, it should be fair to criticize Tel Aviv. That used to be common sense; now it’s treated like treason.

And here’s the part that makes all of this even more fascinating, because if you had been paying attention, you could have seen a shift in Charlie Kirk coming years ago. Back in 2019, when he took his Culture War College Tour on the road, he got hammered night after night by Groypers during open Q&As. These weren’t friendly audiences. They came armed with questions that forced Charlie to defend everything from immigration to his unwavering support of Israel’s government. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was a turning point, so to speak.

Those exchanges got tense and awkward and went viral, and many would argue that they changed Charlie in some ways. You could see it in how he carried himself afterward. Less rehearsed. More real. He wasn’t suddenly radicalized or anything like that. He was maturing. The Culture War tour didn’t break him; it toughened him, and many believe it got him thinking and perhaps made him start asking questions that polite conservatism avoided.

So if you keep that in mind and fast-forward to now and it wasn’t shocking to see Charlie standing shoulder to shoulder with Tucker in questioning the sacred cows of the movement.
