Tucker Carlson invites somebody controversial on his podcast, and suddenly the third coming of Hitler is on the horizon. The Republican Jewish Coalition, led by folks like Mark Levin, has lost its collective mind. The Nazi/Hitler statements, moral posturing, and gnashing of teeth are off the charts. But here’s the thing. This isn’t really about Tucker’s podcast guests. This is about control. Who gets to define “the Right” in 2028 and beyond? The donors in tuxedos, or the people in work boots?

The battle lines are drawn, and the martini-sipping, wishy-washy Trump crowd is squaring off against the “smashmouth” gang, as Bannon calls it. There’s no debate to be had, he says; this is trench warfare, and the MAGA originals are right at home in it. “Bring it on,” he says.

From Steve’s perspective, the RJC types have spent years pretending they’re the moral compass of the conservative movement. They bankroll candidates, buy media influence, and then act shocked when America First voters ignore them. Tucker’s “crime” wasn’t giving Nick Fuentes and other figures like Darryl Cooper and Dave Smith a microphone; it was reminding the establishment that they don’t own the platform anymore.

In many ways, MAGA came up from the dirt, not the donor list. Sure, now the movement is well-funded, but there’s no denying that it’s scrappy and completely done with the old-school GOP. The RJC, with their gala dinners and pre-approved talking points, still thinks politics is about networking and polite disagreement. Tucker knows that game is dead and gone in today’s politics. This is a street brawl, not cocktail hour.

But the outrage over Fuentes is a proxy battle. The real fight is between the populist Right, which is fueled by the working class and independent thinkers, and the establishment Right, still packed with a lot of NeverTrumpers and wishy-washy Trump supporters, who get all “MAGA” when the moment suits them.

The rhetoric coming from the establishment martini drinkers is heating up. Tucker is suddenly the most “antisemitic” voice in America, and Sean Davis, the highly respected editor of The Federalist, has somehow become the “embodiment of Hitler.”

Why are Levin and his side so angry that they’re using the lefty’s playbook, calling people “Hitler”? Well, people like Tucker dared to ask about the billions in aid that we send to Israel. Apparently, that question is off-limits. According to Levin, we should be thanking Israel for protecting us? Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Levin is also throwing out “dog whistles” to take care of his political enemies.

This is dangerous rhetoric. And really disappointing to see it coming from the most prominent voices on the right. It’s lazy and dangerous, and it’s wearing thin. The more they scream “Nazi,” the less anyone listens. That kind of rhetoric doesn’t just divide a movement; it dulls the meaning of real evil. We saw the left do this exact same thing. If the RJC crowd wants to save conservatism, they might start by dropping the left’s playbook and learning what the word “debate” actually means.

But in the end, this is a power grab between MAGA and the RJC over who gets to steer the movement’s future, so things will likely get a lot hotter.
