He hasn’t been charged with the stabbing, but rumors are swirling that he will be.

Iris Stalzer is the 57-year-old Social Democrat mayor, who is now clinging to life after what police describe as a “frenzied attack.”
And the story is unraveling at warp speed.
First off, the stabbing didn’t come from some “far-right extremist,” as the media probably hoped… instead, it points straight to the people closest to her. Both of Stalzer’s adopted children, a teenage son and daughter, are now under investigation. But it’s what the neighbors said that has this case taking a big twist.

Neighbors say they heard violent, loud screaming between her and her son just moments before the stabbing.
Once again, it looks like the reality behind this story won’t match the politically correct version the media would rather spin and peddle. Many believe the mayor’s adopted foreign-born son is likely the culprit. It’s also worth noting that her adopted daughter recently pulled a knife on her as well.

CHILLING screams were heard just moments before a German mayor was stabbed inside her home in a frenzied attack, a neighbour revealed.
Cops are now quizzing the two kids of mum Iris Stalzer, 57, who was found bleeding after being stabbed 13 times in the stomach at her apartment.
Paramedics rushed the 57-year-old Social Democrat to the hospital with life-threatening injuries from her apartment in Herdecke, North Rhine-Westphalia, at around lunchtime on Monday.
Initial reports said she was stabbed in the stomach and back outside of her house. Cops later confirmed the stabbing took place inside.
A special homicide squad are still investigating the case, but cops have said “a family connection is suspected” for the crime.
Stalzer’s 15-year-old adopted son told police that he found his mum inside their home following the brutal attack.
He alleged that “multiple men were involved in the stabbing”.
The mayor’s 17-year-old adopted daughter was also inside the flat at the time, according to Bild.
Both are now being quizzed by German cops.
They said: “Half an hour before the rescue helicopter landed, I heard the boy and his mother arguing. They were literally screaming at each other.”
The stabbing comes just weeks after her adopted daughter allegedly lunged at her with a knife.
The mayor – who is still in a critical condition – was “briefly responsive” with police this afternoon, according to Welt.
She was “awake at some point” and able to answer brief questions.
The mum reportedly said she “knew who committed the crime”, but gave no further details.
It’s also suspicious that reports say she knows who stabbed her, yet she isn’t willing to say who it was.
Obviously, this story is still developing, but the pattern is already familiar: media silence until the facts can be reframed (or ignored) to protect the narrative. Had this been a “right-wing” attacker, the global press would’ve been screaming from the rooftops. Instead, because the suspects are foreign-born and the victim is a left-wing mayor, everyone’s suddenly gone quiet.

For now, Mayor Stalzer is still fighting for her life, and her country’s political class is fighting just as hard to control the story.
