The violent, bloodthirsty left-wing extremists are getting younger by the day, folks. This latest story comes out of Bogota, Colombia, where a popular right-wing politician was gunned down during a June campaign event. The shooter was a child. A 15-year-old boy. After clinging to life for two months, Miguel Uribe died in August. And now, that teenage assassin has been sentenced.

This was the moment Uribe was shot.

Miguel Uribe Turbay, senator and presidential pre-candidate, died after spending two months in the ICU due to an attack on June 7 in Bogotá. A minor, acting as a hitman, shot him during a rally. Colombia mourns his loss and condemns political violence.

But here’s the real shame… the killer will serve only seven years in a juvenile detention center, the harshest penalty Colombian law allows. The reason for this is even more infuriating. Turns out that he was originally charged with “attempted murder,” and once a charge is filed against a minor, Colombian law doesn’t allow it to be updated, even if the victim dies. It’s an absurd loophole that makes political assassination an easy rap to beat.

The 15-year-old shooter of Colombian presidential candidate Miguel Uribe, who was attacked in June and died in August, was sentenced Wednesday to seven years in juvenile detention.

The right-wing politician was shot in the head during a campaign event in Bogota by the teenager, who “must remain in a specialised care center for seven years, deprived of liberty”, prosecutors said in a statement.

The teen was charged with attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons – not homicide – because Colombian law does not permit modifying charges after they’ve been accepted by a minor defendant.

BRUTAL THIS VIDEO Miguel Uribe was assassinated. The left finally got its way. Before the attack, he recorded this video: “Publish it when they sign the popular consultation.” Colombians: the leftists have always been criminals who silence their opponents with bullets.

Notice how conservatives in Colombia are facing the same kind of left-wing violence we’re dealing with here in the United States. Scary.

And speaking of scary, this teen was part of FARC, a radical, far-left guerrilla group infamous for their violent ways and political terror in Colombia. The France24 piece goes on:

The attack echoed the worst years of political violence in Colombia, where five presidential candidates were gunned down in the second half of the 20th century.

Videos of the June 7 attack show Uribe speaking at a rally in a working class neighbourhood of Bogota before gunshots broke out. The bloodied candidate collapsed amid the screams of hundreds of supporters.

The minor shot Uribe three times, including twice in the head, before the candidate’s bodyguards were able to wound and detain the shooter.

Five others – all adults – have been arrested and charged with aggravated homicide in connection to the attack.

Police have also pointed to a dissident wing of the defunct FARC guerrilla group as being behind the assassination.

In recent weeks, twin guerrilla attacks have killed 19 people in Colombia, with a truck bomb in Cali killing six and a drone attack on drug-mitigation operations that downed a police helicopter killing 13 officers.

These FARC extremists make ANTIFA look like a cakewalk… at least for now.

This kind of left-wing political violence is everywhere these days, yet the media still wants you to believe that your conservative values are the real problem.

The left are waging a bloody war against their political opponents. And it’s not just in Colombia, but across the globe, and right here at home. The most recent trans shooter, who opened fire on children in a Catholic church, had “Kill Trump” scribbled all over his weapons.
