For years now, the left has treated welfare programs like EBT as freebies to lure in illegals and untouchable sacred cows. They’ve painted any criticism of these bloated, abused programs as cruel, racist, or anti-poor. But behind the curtain, there’s a side of this system that reeks to high heaven, and not enough people are willing to talk about what is really going on. The ugly truth is that abuse and scams have become so common, they’re practically built into the culture of how most people use these benefits. That’s why when reforms or restrictions are proposed, the loudest outrage often comes from those who’ve been milking the system for everything it’s worth.

The Trump admin is making some sweeping changes to the EBT cards, including banning soda, candy & other junk food from food stamp eligibility. This has caused an uproar amongst the “needy.” But one thing you need to know, it’s about a lot more than unhealthy snacks and sugar water.

That’s exactly what one woman is calling out in a video that’s now making a lot of waves. She claims the real reason so many are upset over recent food stamp changes isn’t about feeding children or struggling families; it’s about losing an easy pipeline of cash for luxuries and vices and wigs…

She says people are really outraged about food stamps because they’ve been selling them, and that’s how they “normally buy weed, wigs, bundles (of drugs), get your nails done”

“And don’t say I’m lying because when y’all were receiving food stamps, you were selling the food stamps. You weren’t worried about feeding your children”

Our welfare programs are overflowing with fraud and rot. And it’s not just the recipients milking the system – federal workers are getting in on the freebies too.

It seems like every time you turn around, someone else is getting busted for stealing money from the welfare system.

Fidelity:

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has discovered a major food stamp fraud and bribery scheme, misappropriating millions of taxpayer dollars. This has led to the arrest of a USDA employee and five others.

What Happened: The USDA, along with the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office, has indicted six individuals in connection with a bribery and fraud scheme involving the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), allegedly resulting in over $66 million in unauthorized transactions, stated a federal press release on Friday.

The defendants, namely Michael Kehoe, Mohamad Nawafleh, Omar Alrawashdeh, Gamal Obaid, Emad Alrawashdeh and Arlasa Davis, are charged with “conspiracy to steal government funds and to misappropriate U.S. Department of Agriculture benefits,” as per a press release.

“This fraud was made possible when USDA employee Arlasa Davis betrayed the public trust by selling confidential government information to the very criminals she was supposed to catch,” declared U.S. Attorney Perry Carbone.

According to the indictment, the scheme started in 2019 with the formation of a network that distributed 160 unauthorized electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards to stores throughout New York, illegally processing more than $30 million in EBT transactions.

The group also faces accusations of submitting fraudulent USDA applications, misusing license numbers, and falsifying documents to register unauthorized stores.

But all joking aside, this fraud and abuse is an absolute travesty. Yes, there are folks who genuinely need a hand up for a short time, and that’s understandable. But what we’ve created in this country are generations of families who’ve been on welfare for so long that they know the system better than some of the people who are actually running it. And along the way, they’ve figured out every trick in the book to milk it for all it’s worth.

And in the end, who pays the price? We all know the answer. The American taxpayer and the people who truly do need some temporary help. If you’re sick and tired of working extra hours just to foot the bill for someone else’s luxury lifestyle, you’re not alone. It’s time to crack down on the fraud and get able-bodied people back to work. After all, now that all these illegals are gone, there are a lot of jobs to be filled.
