It’s finally happening. One brave town in Spain just took a stand for their people and their culture. It’s the kind of move that’s long overdue for those of us in the “progressive” West.

It happened in a town called Jumilla, in the region of Murcia. They’ve thrown caution to the wind and spit in the face of globalism by officially banning Muslim religious celebrations like Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha from being held in public spaces.

That means no more mosques popping up in civic centers, no gyms turning into prayer halls, and no cultural backflips just to appease outsiders.

Spain is not a Muslim country. It’s a nation that’s gone through many changes, but at its root, it’s a Christian nation built on Western values and centuries of culture that deserve to be preserved, not watered down in the name of “diversity.”

Spanish town banned Muslim religious festivals from public spaces. The Conservative People’s party in Jumilla has voted to stop civic centres and gyms being used for activities “alien to our identity”.

Muslims has been banned from using public facilities such as civic centres and gyms to celebrate the religious festivals Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

The ban – a first for Spain – was introduced by the conservative People’s party (PP) and passed with the abstention of the far-right Vox party and the opposition of local leftwing parties.

The Vox Party posted this (translated) post on X, claiming Spain would always be a land of Christian roots.

And for those grasping at their pearls over Spain’s decision to protect its culture and way of life, just look at London. That once-great city is now a very cautionary tale of what happens when you let foreign ideologies run roughshod over your own people.

Spain just did what every Western country should’ve done a long time ago: draw a line in the sand. If you want to preserve your culture, your values, and your way of life, you better start acting like it. That goes for the UK, Germany, Australia, and yes, even parts of the US.
