If you’re in the LA area, you’ve probably noticed all the smoke in the air. And you know what they say—where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Right now, the city of Palisades is literally burning to the ground. An endless stream of people are losing everything they own, and some are injured—or worse, losing their lives—because of these raging fires that can’t be contained for one shocking reason…

This area of California has reportedly run out of water.

In fact, former mayoral candidate Rick Caruso called into a local news station and said, “There’s no water coming out of the hydrants.”

Good lord, those poor firefighters.

 

So, how did something like this happen? Well, reports suggest the powers that be refused to fill the reservoirs. And get this—while this is all unfolding, we’re discovering that DEI Mayor Karen Bass made massive budget cuts to the fire department, which is really strange, considering one of California’s most popular seasons is literally called “Fire.”

Karen Bass cut the fire department’s funding by a whopping $17.6 million.

And in case you didn’t know, the woman running the entire LA Fire Department is a DEI hire as well. And this “fire chief” is better known for her LGBTQ lifestyle than for her skills in managing teams or fighting fires.

And as the fire rages on with little to no water to fight it, people are left with no help, and they’re now running for their lives.

California looks like a hellscape.

I just left the hellscape formerly know as Pacific Palisades where I’ve lived for 26 years. I’m mad at what I saw. Our politicians have failed us. Unprepared, unimaginative, understaffed, now overwhelmed. Heads must roll for this disaster. We’re watching DEI not only destroy businesses, groups, institutions, and communities, but now we’re also seeing it literally kill people. Who can forget the disaster that unfolded in New Orleans after the New Year’s Eve terror attack? The DEI police chief and lead DEI FBI agent turned the investigation into a clown show.

Real people are suffering as a result of DEI.

James Woods filmed this video of his house before the fire.

Now, like countless others, he’s left waiting for the flames to consume what’s left of his family home.

James followed up by posting the DEI “objectives” of the woke LGBTQ fire chief, revealing exactly where her real priorities lie.

And now, James is evacuating his home.

But in the meantime, there are actually more “woke” objectives from DEI Fire Chief Kristin Crowley. For Ms. Crowley, it seems the most important thing isn’t fire safety or preventive management—it’s her sexuality and who she sleeps with.

This is what a collapsing state looks like, plain and simple—when useless progressive “firsts” matter more than quality, merit, and excellence. LA isn’t focused on recruiting the best firefighters. Nope, they’ve got liberal quotas to fill, and that means more gays and a whole lot of women.

Can you imagine a 5-alarm fire at your house and a crew of ladies showing up to help you and your family escape?

Hard pass.

And to make matters worse, while her city burns to the ground, the DEI mayor of LA is in Africa, having the time of her life. It’s safe to say that her citizens are not happy about her African safari.

While Karen Bass is in Africa, and the fire chief is celebrating her “pride,” the citizens of their city are dodging live wires and a tsunami of fire, with no firefighters or water to help put it out.

Totaling $800,000 apiece, the grants are intended for individuals who have demonstrated “extraordinary originality and dedication in their creative pursuits and a marked capacity for self-direction.” The awards are famous for their lack of transparency; there are applications but no public nominations, and even those who decide who wins the awards remain mostly anonymous. Because of the substantial prize, which comes with no strings attached, winning a MacArthur is a dream achievement for practically any individual in any academic, scientific, or creative field.

Distinguished past winners of MacArthur grants include novelist Cormac McCarthy, computer scientist Stephen Wolfram, and mathematician Terence Tao.

The 2024 winners are… less likely to reach the heights of those men. Of the 22 fellows for 2024, about two-thirds were selected for what can only be described as DEI bullshit.

The MacArthur Joke ‘Geniuses’ Are Proof DEI Is Still Dominant

Right now, DEI might just be the most dangerous weapon being used against the American people. We’re destroying ourselves from within—not with some random civil war, but by dumbing down our society to the point of no return. It’s all part of the left’s plan to turn America into a mediocre cesspool, where charity trumps excellence, and now, people are losing everything, even their lives, because of it.
