Florida and the Gulf Coast have been hard hit by hurricanes and savage storms. Unfortunately, FEMA and the Harris/Biden regime have let Americans down, ignoring their desperate cries for help while spending US tax dollars on illegals and foreigners, completely forgetting the people here at home who need it most. That’s the hopelessly globalist legacy of Kamala Harris. Thankfully, President Trump is a leader for the people and has put his money where his mouth is to help Florida as they recover from Hurricane Milton.

While Milton wasn’t the “Cat 6” storm many feared (thank God), it still packed a punch for folks in Florida who are still reeling from Hurricane Helene. Tragically, it remained a deadly storm.

NBC News:

Hurricane Milton made landfall as a Category 3 storm at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday near Siesta Key, Florida, a barrier island next to Sarasota. The storm has since moved out to sea. At least 14 people have been confirmed dead in the storm’s aftermath, including six in St. Lucie County on Florida’s Atlantic coast, where officials said tornadoes touched down. About 11 million people were at risk of flash and river flooding, and a record number of tornadoes caused widespread damage yesterday.

And according to reports, over 3 million people are without power.

AP:

Rescue teams plucked Florida residents from the flotsam of Hurricane Milton on Thursday after the storm smashed through coastal communities where it tore homes into pieces, filled streets with mud and spawned a barrage of deadly tornadoes. At least eight people were dead.

Arriving just two weeks after the misery wrought by Hurricane Helene, the system also knocked out power to more than 3 million customers, flooded barrier islands, tore the roof off a baseball stadium and toppled a construction crane.

Among the most dramatic rescues, Hillsborough County officers found a 14-year-old boy floating on a piece of fence and pulled him onto a boat. A Coast Guard helicopter crew rescued a man who was left clinging to an ice chest in the Gulf of Mexico after his fishing boat was stranded in waters roiled by Hurricane Milton. The agency estimated the man had survived winds of 75 to 90 mph (121 to 145 kph) and waves up to 25 feet (7.6 meters) high during his night on the water.

That brings us to President Trump’s generous offer of help. He’s housing nearly 300 workers at his Miami hotel so they can focus on restoring power for Floridians.

Folks, this is what you call true leadership. Kamala and Tampon Tims should probably take notes.

While President Trump is putting his money where his mouth is and actually helping Americans affected by these savage hurricanes, Kamala Harris is busy appearing on a politically biased, unfunny late-night talk show, sipping on cheap beer while Americans are wading through floodwaters.

Kamala accuses President Trump of being “callous,” all while attending her own fundraising events during the hurricane and making an appearance on a “sex podcast.”

While Kamala stumbles around the campaign trail, trying to piggyback off the success and PR of real leaders, President Trump opened the doors to his stunning Trump Doral Miami property for Florida’s largest electric utility company.

Those men and women will be working around the clock to restore power to American families in need—while Kamala throws back brewskis.

Newsweek:

The Doral Miami Resort, officially known as Trump National Doral Miami, is a luxury resort and golf club located in Doral, Florida, near Miami. Miami is like to be spared the brunt of Hurricane Milton’s wrath, as it’s south of where the storm is supposed to hit, but people in mobile homes were encouraged to evacuate.

Former President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump, shared a video of the linemen geting their room assignments on X, formally Twitter.

“Honored to have 275 incredible linemen from FPL at @TrumpDoral as they get ready to respond to the aftermath of Hurricane #Milton! You are amazing and the Trump Family, and entire state of Florida, appreciates you! Enjoy the rooms – they are the best in Florida! Be safe!” Eric posted.

FPL is one of the largest electric utility companies in the United States. It serves millions of customers in Florida, providing electricity to residential, commercial and industrial sectors. The company plays a crucial role in restoring power during emergencies, such as hurricanes and severe storms, and is involved in various community initiatives.

And speaking of Hurricane Milton, when Kamala’s not busy tossing back beers, she’s attacking the Governor of Florida—a man who has successfully managed multiple natural disasters—and accusing him of playing “politics” because he won’t call her. Why on earth would Ron DeSantis, a powerhouse leader in his own right, reach out to a useless “czar” for help when she can’t even maintain order at the US border that she’s supposedly in charge of?

Collin Rugg:

This is hilarious.

Kamala Harris told reporters that Ron DeSantis was being selfish and ‘utterly irresponsible’ for not taking her call regarding Hurricane Milton.

Hours later, Ron DeSantis says in her 3 and a half years in office, Kamala Harris hasn’t called him once to offer assistance.

“She has no role in this. In fact, she’s been vice president for three and a half years.”

“I’ve dealt with a number of storms under this administration. She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts.”

“She’s the first one who’s trying to politicize the storm, and she’s doing that just because of her campaign.”

DeSantis is absolutely right. Kamala’s campaign is flailing, and she’s desperately trying anything to generate some buzz. But instead of attacking DeSantis and President Trump, maybe she should dip into her enormously padded bank account and donate some money to the hurricane victims. It’s not like she can’t afford it.

Her taxpayer-funded salary is $284,600/yr, her net worth is ~$10 million, and she owns three homes — one in LeBron James’ neighborhood

Capture

Kamala Harris is the perfect example of a do-nothing career politician. It’s not surprising that she’s all talk and no action, focused only on her own bottom line. This is the nature of the career political beast, on both sides of the aisle. But this is exactly why President Trump resonates with the average American. He’s a man of the people, not the elites. The “blue-collar billionaire” who crafts policies that uplift the working class and throws them a lifeline when the waters get too rough, as we’ve witnessed with his quick thinking and generosity in Florida.
