Here we are again—another school shooter on a deadly rampage, and once more, we learn that the disgraceful FBI not only had prior knowledge of Colt Gray but even interviewed him and his father after disturbing social media posts came to light and anonymous tips came in about the troubled teen.

Washington Post:

After a shooter opened fire at Apalachee High School in Winder, Ga., on Wednesday, killing four people, authorities are looking into the possible motives of the suspect, a 14-year-old student at the school, as the community mourns. Nine people who were injured and hospitalized are expected to survive, Barrow County officials said. The suspect was booked into a youth detention center in Gainesville overnight, authorities confirmed early Thursday. In the coming days, investigators will seek to determine how the shooter obtained an “AR-platform-style weapon” they say he used. They will also assess any connection to an earlier incident in which the FBI interviewed the suspect, Colt Gray, while investigating anonymous reports of online threats to commit a school shooting.

What more does the FBI need to contain the situation? Do they need these shooters handed to them on a silver platter? Sure, maybe the teen couldn’t be charged with a crime, but with all the passion and resources the FBI throws into targeting Trump supporters, you’d think they could spare a fraction of that to keep a closer eye on a suspected school shooter, right?

Meanwhile, Colt Gray, who was allowed to carry on, thanks to the ineptitude of the FBI and local police, went on a shooting rampage that targeted a special needs child, killing him and others and injuring many innocent people.

Collin Rugg:

NEW: School sh**ter Colt Gray appeared to target a special needs classroom as autistic 14-year-old Mason Schermerhorn has been identified as a victim.

What a sick and vile human being.

Special-ed math teacher David Phenix was ID’d earlier as one of the injured.

The other three individuals who were k*lled have not yet been identified.

Schermerhorn’s mother confirmed he had passed.

His family had shared his photo on social media after they were unable to reach him.

“If he is escalated, PLEASE use a calm voice with him,” a family member said.

Horrific.

Once again, the FBI finds itself at the center of it all, having had extensive contact with the shooter over a year ago. This keeps happening, and you have to ask yourself—why?

BBC:

A boy accused of killing four people at his high school in Georgia was interviewed last year by police about anonymous online threats, the FBI has said.

Colt Gray, 14, denied to police in May 2023 he was behind internet posts that contained images of guns, warning of a school shooting.

The suspect opened fire on Wednesday at Apalachee High School in the city of Winder, killing two teachers and two pupils, investigators say. Eight students and one teacher were injured.

He was arrested on campus and will be prosecuted as an adult.

Here’s more on the FBI’s prior knowledge of Colton Gray, the shooter, and just how obvious the red flags were.

Here’s a closeup of the statement:

It seems like every time we hear about a mass shooting, the FBI has some kind of ‘prior knowledge.’ If they’ve got this information, why can’t they find a way to track or stop these people before they go on a killing spree?

“Has the FBI become too political, too focused on DEI, and too weaponized to actually do the job they’re meant to do? Whatever the real reason, it’s happening so often that there are memes about it. So, what’s the deal? We deserve to know why the FBI is either so inept or so calculated that these mass shootings are allowed to happen unchecked.
