In case you missed it, a “diversity festival” in Germany took an ironic and tragic turn when a man went on a murderous rampage, killing three people and injuring many others. In a grim twist of fate, ISIS quickly claimed responsibility for the attack, yet German officials are still hesitating to officially label it as terrorism. Typical response. This is when officials put more effort into covering for the Muslim community than they do into protecting their own citizens.

This was from The Guardian just one day ago. The teen arrested reportedly had prior knowledge of the attack but, according to recent reports, was not the knife-wielding terrorist in this case.

Police confirm 15-year-old arrested in connection with attack

Police said they are still trying to establish a motive but they cannot rule out terrorism.

They confirmed they arrested a 15-year-old, but said they could not give further information.

Police also confirmed two men and a woman were killed in the attack. The two male victims are reportedly 67 and 56 years old, the deceased woman 56. Eight other people were injured, four of them seriously.

Police urged people to avoid speculation about the attack. And asked people with evidence to submit it using the official helpline, rather than posting it on social media.

Meanwhile, rumors circulated that the killer might be an Arab. Well, we now have confirmation and a disturbing update to this story: the attacker is actually a 26-year-old asylum seeker from Syria. Gee, who didn’t see something like that coming?

This latest attack follows a similar incident in the UK, which sparked widespread riots. A teen from Rwanda attacked a group of young girls at a dance class, tragically killing several innocent children. Fed-up citizens had enough and lashed out.
