Yet another J6 “activist” judge just got a hefty smackdown from a three-panel DC appellate court. We’ve all sat back in horror, watching how our tyrannical and unjust government and activist judges, drunk on power and ideology, have been treating January 6 Americans like North Korean political dissenters. Meanwhile, violent black and brown criminals are given the “red carpet” treatment as crime soars in liberal-run hellholes. The sliver of good news in this un-American story is that when many of these tyrants are challenged, their sham cases fall apart.
Judge Reggie Walton really fits the bill of a dutiful uni-party soldier, and boy, has he been rewarded for it. It just goes to show that the Republicans can really ramp up the affirmative action when they want to. George W. Bush put Walton in the game back in June 2001. Fast forward to 2007, and Chief Justice John Roberts puts him on the US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court for seven years, even bumping him up to Presiding Judge by 2013. Now, Walton’s sitting pretty as a senior judge in the District of Columbia, but let’s just say his resume isn’t something to brag about. In case you. didn’t know it, this is the guy who let Crooked Hillary Clinton off the hook during the whole Whitewater scandal in the ’90s, tossing out a Judicial Watch lawsuit. In addition, this is the same unprofessional political hack who went on CNN, spewing anti-Trump propaganda.
Former Justice Gorsuch clerk, attorney Mike Davis, explains how Judge Walton’s unprofessional, politically biased behavior could have tainted the jury pool:
Judge Reggie Walton violated judicial canons when he spoke with CNN and possibly tainted the jury pool.
Democrat judges, prosecutors, and operatives are blatantly violating their oaths.
The Article III Project filed a judicial complaint against Judge Walton for his actions.
Thanks to @JoeTalkShow for having me on.

Mike Davis submitted an ethics complaint against Judge Walton for his extreme “activist” decision to go on CNN and spew anti-Trump propaganda.
NEW: Mike Davis files a complaint against U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton, a sitting judge out of Washington, DC, who appeared on CNN talking about Donald Trump
Mike Davis the founder and president of the Article III Project
The complaint was addressed to Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan of the DC Circuit Court of Appeals
“We are seeing a dangerous pattern in which DC federal judges, like … Reggie Walton have convinced themselves they have a duty — unbounded by the judicial canons — to make extrajudicial pronouncements about President Trump,” Davis wrote in a 13-page complaint
“It is much worse when a different judge — especially a sitting federal judge — thinks it is his job to moonlight as a CNN commentator on a pending criminal case in another judge’s court,” he added

Maybe now’s the perfect time for Judge Walton to dial back on those CNN propaganda pieces and brush up on his legal knowledge, huh?
This gives you a pretty clear picture of the kind of RINO we’re talking about. So, it’s probably not shocking to find out that Judge Walton has made some questionable and clearly ideological calls concerning January 6th. In one particularly horrific standout move, he actually ordered a J6 defendant to hand over his computer to be screened by the government for “disinformation.” Is this still America? Movers like this make you wonder if Kim Jong-Un even goes that far.
As expected, the appellate court wasn’t having any of it and swiftly put Walton in his place. Investigative reporter Julie Kelly shared the good news on X:

Another smackdown of DC judge by DC appellate court.
3-judge panel denounces Judge Reggie Walton–who gave an interview on CNN last week to warn Trump’s words endanger judges and their families–for directing the government to monitor the computer of a J6 defendant for “disinformation” about Jan 6.
Walton also blasted Tucker Carlson for being a “lightning rod” and saying “divisive” things about J6.

The DC Appellate Court decided that Judge Walton didn’t have the legal right to tack that tyrannical condition onto Mr. Goodwyn’s sentence.
A sentencing requirement that Jan. 6 defendant Daniel Goodwyn have his computer monitored by the government for “disinformation” has been vacated by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
The court on March 26 published a mandate sending the case back to U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton to remove the computer monitoring requirement he issued as part of the sentencing judgment in the case on June 15, 2023.
“Judge Walton had no legal basis to issue the special condition,” Carolyn Stewart, Mr. Goodwyn’s attorney, told The Epoch Times in an April 3 email.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the judge “plainly erred” in imposing the computer monitoring. Judges Gregory Katsas, Naomi Rao, and Bradley Garcia issued a per curiam order vacating the monitoring provision.Judge Walton, when imposing a 60-day jail sentence in June 2023, said Mr. Goodwyn spread “disinformation” during a broadcast of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on March 14, 2023. Judge Walton ordered that Mr. Goodwyn’s computer be subject to “monitoring and inspection” by a probation agent to check if he spread Jan. 6 disinformation during the term of his supervised release.
Goodwyn is pleased with the ruling from the appellate court, and rightly so. The Epoch Times piece goes on:
“Judge Walton’s imposition of the computer monitoring restriction is inconsistent with American law and tradition,” Mr. Goodwyn told The Epoch Times. “It’s unbelievable, in my opinion, that he would unlawfully order feds to spy on me in direct violation of the First and Fourth Amendments, under threat of locking me back up in prison.”

Pray for them all.
In the meantime, this was a big win for the good guys. Here’s hoping they maintain this momentum and keep taking on these unfair, anti-American activist judges, regardless of who put them in their seats.
