Is there anything more nauseating than hearing a politician dish out a politically correct statement on any topic? Americans have become utterly sick to death of the “political speak” that spews out of DC. Just the sound of these insincere, rehearsed lines from career politicians is enough to make your skin crawl. That’s exactly the situation we’re facing with Speaker Johnson’s recent remarks on the Laken Riley memorial. Listening to him offer tributes feels like a slap in the face, considering he had the power to prevent this tragedy but chose inaction instead. While Joe might bear direct responsibility, Speaker Johnson, along with the rest of the spineless Republicans, also carries a share of the blame for this tragedy. You really have to ask yourself: Why do we even bother having Republicans? They basically do nothing except write outrage tweets and blanket PR statements.

Meanwhile, Laken’s family is calling this nightmare exactly what it is: preventable. Their beautiful daughter did not have to die.

Collin Rugg:

NEW: Laken Riley’s mother has released her first public statement about her daughter’s death, calling it a “senseless” and “avoidable” tragedy.

Riley was laid to rest in Woodstock, Georgia on Friday with over 1,000 in attendance.

Riley’s mother, Allyson Phillips, wrote the following on Facebook:

“As I sat down to write this message, I really just have no words. My family has faced the most devastating, unimaginable loss that anyone could ever be force to endure. I would like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for being with me and my family during this heartbreaking time. I encourage everyone to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I give Him all the glory for getting us through this.”

“It would be really easy to lose our faith in mankind because of this senseless and avoidable tragedy. The amount of love, support and help that we have received during this horrific nightmare is overwhelming. I can’t begin to tell you all how much we appreciate all of the text, calls, flowers, meals, groceries, bows, pictures, personal gifts, memorials, gift cards and donations to Laken’s foundation. We are beyond grateful for everyone who has stepped up to be here for us through this difficult time. The outpouring of love has been so enormous – that I felt this was the best way to thank you all in a timely manner. I hope that each and every one of you know how much we love you and appreciate all you have done. We have no words to possibly express our heart felt gratitude. Please know that every act of kindness has warmed our hearts and brought us joy during our worst nightmare. We appreciate all of the time, effort and prayers that our family, friends and community have showered us with to help ease our pain. We love you all and hope that you feel from the bottom of our hearts how much every single thing that has been done for us has meant. I love you all. Please continue to pray for our family as we put one foot in front of the other moving forward.”

Watch:

War Room’s Steve Bannon has had enough of all this phony political pomp and circumstance, and he’s been taking Speaker Johnson to task recently. Bannon’s frustration boiled over with Johnson’s latest statement on Laken Riley’s service. Bannon nailed exactly what’s wrong here, pinpointing the issue perfectly: this is why folks detest Republicans and why Donald Trump has won so much love from the people. Trump stands in stark contrast to these spineless Republicans, ditching those polished, publicist-written statements that come off as insincere and totally exhausting and speaking sincerely.

The way these politicians talk is just not real, and frankly, everyone’s tired of it. If Speaker Johnson truly wanted to make a difference for his country, he would have pushed the powers that be to close the border. But that didn’t happen. So, whatever he’s saying now just doesn’t carry any weight—it’s all just empty talk. To add insult to injury, the one move that could start to mend the situation he’s played a part in creating would have been to declare, “In memory of Laken Riley, we’re finally taking the step we should have taken from the start: we’re shutting down the border.” Yet, that statement never came, and nobody is madder about it than Steve Bannon.

This is why Steve Bannon resonates with so many. He’s unfiltered, direct, and doesn’t dance around the truth. Speaker Johnson, on the other hand, ought to be hanging his head in shame, possibly even more than Biden. Joe Biden, after all, is nothing more than a confused figurehead, manipulated by those intent on reshaping the country through an invasion of “new voters.” There’s no element of surprise with Joe. But Speaker Johnson? He’s sold himself as a champion of America First, pledging to defend his country. Yet, his actions tell a totally different story.

Americans are becoming just as disillusioned with the so-called allies on the right as they are with the communist tyrants on the left. The nightmare case of Laken Riley’s murder is a stark reminder of this, underscoring the harsh reality of a Uniparty system where the left’s destructive agenda is made possible with a lot of assistance from the right.
