The animosity between Tucker Carlson and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is palpable, with both figures standing on vastly different grounds both politically and morally. Tucker, known for advocating peace and stability, stands in sharp contrast with Zelensky, who is often depicted as a ruthless leader caught up in widespread corruption.

Tucker Carlson has not held back in his savage criticism of Zelensky, especially last year at this time, when he passionately argued that Zelensky has been eager to “get your sons to Ukraine to die on behalf of his country.” He also stated that Zelensky is not a hero. “He’s an antihero. He’s a destroyer.” There is no love lost between these two men.

Recently, Tucker Carlson made headlines with his trip to Moscow for an interview with Vladimir Putin. The conversation caught fire online, challenging the prevailing narrative by suggesting Putin might not be the “warmonger” we’ve been led to believe he is. This revelation did not sit well with Zelensky, to say the least. He was furious.

Volodymyr Zelensky has blasted Tucker Carlson’s recent sit-down interview with Vladimir Putin, calling it “bull****”.

The former Fox News host has been heavily criticised for his controversial two-hour discussion with the Russian president earlier this month.

“I don’t have time to hear more than two hours of bull*** about us, about the world, about the United States, about our relations and this interview with a killer,” Mr Zelensky said, when asked if he had seen coverage of the interview.

It’s hardly surprising, then, that Ukraine’s intelligence might mark Tucker for scrutiny. This follows closely on the heels of what they reportedly did to an independent journalist who criticized Ukraine—a situation that Tucker Carlson has extensively covered:

Reporter Gonzalo Lira, a citizen of Chile and the US, who was detained by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), has died in prison, US journalist Tucker Carlson said, citing Lira’s father.

“Gonzalo Lira, Sr. says his son has died at 55 in a Ukrainian prison, where he was being held for the crime of criticizing the Zelensky and Biden governments,” Carlson wrote on the X social media platform (formerly Twitter).

He added that despite Lira’s American citizenship, the US administration “clearly supported his imprisonment and torture.”

On Saturday, US entrepreneur Elon Musk addressed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, asking him to explain Lira’s arrest and incarceration. Musk voiced his opinion on the issue following Carlson’s post on the X platform asserting that Lira was being “tortured in a Ukrainian prison since July, for the crime of criticizing Zelensky.”

Russia has announced they’ve detained an individual allegedly paid by Ukraine to murder Tucker Carlson near his Four Seasons Hotel.

Russian forces reportedly arrested a man for a planned attack on Tucker, allegedly orchestrated by Ukraine’s Intelligence.

The plot allegedly involved an IED targeting Carlson’s vehicle at the Four Seasons hotel.

The suspect reportedly admitted to receiving $4000 for the attack’s execution after being caught.

This situation should raise eyebrows across America, no matter where you stand politically. It’s alarming that, up to this point, our government has remained silent on these reports, which is bizarre. But even more concerning is how it’s becoming a little too common that straying from the progressive agenda or failing to back the current regime and its allies can lead to being canceled or effectively erased from the face of the earth.

This is a very scary time to be a “political dissenter” in the US and abroad.
