While Republicans are perfectly okay with internal bickering and tearing into each other, Democrats play by a completely different set of rules. It’s pretty straightforward with them: you either fall in line with the party’s agenda or you’re out, and it won’t be pretty. Look at Andrew Cuomo’s dramatic downfall after he clashed with Biden when he tried to steal the “COVID KING” title. And then there’s Senator Bob Menendez, staring down years in prison following his move to block one of Biden’s border initiatives.
Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) is preventing the Biden administration from ramping up deportations of migrants from Venezuela back to their home country before they reach the U.S., Axios has learned.
Why it matters: It’s an example of how politically sensitive immigration policy can be. President Biden is being boxed in by a senator from his own party who has blasted the administration’s strict approach to migration at the southwest border.
How we got here: For months, top Biden officials have trying to find a way to pay Guatemala to help its government deport more Venezuelans before they migrate into Mexico or the U.S., according to three sources familiar with the discussions.
- Frosty diplomatic relations with Venezuela have made it nearly impossible for the U.S. to deport Venezuelan migrants on its own.
- As with most changes to how federal dollars are spent, the plan relies on congressional approval.
- Menendez, who chairs the powerful Senate Foreign Relations Committee, refuses to green light the idea.
Now, it looks like another Dem is at the dinner table, waiting for her serving of Biden’s “revenge porridge.” Cori Bush, a radical member of the “Squad” who hasn’t shied away from criticizing Biden, seems to be the next internal target for Biden’s corrupt DOJ. The party’s gearing up, and it looks like they’re not holding anything back, not even the kitchen sink.
Attorney Mike Davis knows what’s about to happen to Cori, and it won’t be pretty.
The Biden Justice Department is ignoring blatant evidence the President of the United States is compromised by foreign bribes and other corruption.
But they will gladly go after Biden's political enemies.
Cori Bush is about to learn this the hard way.https://t.co/DEPEcCd6GR

We’ve all seen how the left deals with Trump supporters, treating them as if they were political prisoners in North Korea. Well, Cori Bush is on the brink of experiencing something similar. She’s about to get a taste of what it’s like for those J6 prisoners and innocent Americans like Douglass Mackey, who are victims of a weaponized DOJ and corrupt judicial system. When the dust settles, Cori might have empathy for President Trump. After going through what she’s about to face, she’ll likely see the sham Trump’s facing in a whole new light if she’s honest with herself.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly conducting a criminal probe of Democratic Missouri Rep. Cori Bush, who has repeatedly pushed to defund the police, after spending taxpayer money on private security for herself.
According to Punchbowl News, the Justice Department has subpoenaed the House Sergeant at Arms for records relating to the misspending of federal security money. The Daily Caller first reported in April that Bush and members of the far-left Democratic Party group in Congress called “the Squad” spent thousands of campaign funds on private security.
According to the Statement of Disbursements of the House records, Bush also spent taxpayer funds on a day of private security for herself between Jan. 1 to March 31.
Here’s the laundry list of allegations against Bush, per the Daily Caller piece:
Bush, a freshman Democrat who has vocally pushed to defund the police, spent over $30,000 on her own security, according to her April Quarterly 2021 financial report.
- On Jan. 18, 2021, Bush spent $1,060.00 on security from Whole Armor Executive Protection in Bowie, Maryland.
- On Jan. 21, 2021, Bush spent $5,000 on security from Nathaniel Davis, Jr in her home state.
- On Jan. 25, 2021, Bush spent $530.00 on security from Nathaniel Davis in Palo Alto, Calif.
- On Feb. 17, 2021, Bush spent $7,743.75 on security from RS&T Security Counseling LLC in New York City.
- On Feb. 25, 2021, Bush spent $5,000 on security from Sandler, Reiff, Lamb, Rosenstein & Birk in Washington DC.
- On Feb. 26, 2021, Bush spent $5,812.00 on security from RS&T Security Counseling, LLC in NYC.
- On March 15, 2021, Bush spent $5,000 on security from Nathaniel Davis Davis, in Saint Louis, Missouri.
- On March 15, 2021, Bush spent $2,456.25 on security from RS&T Security Consulting LLC in NYC.
Cori Bush likely didn’t see this attack coming. She spoke out against Joe Biden, and her party turned on her so fast, it made her radical head spin. However, it’s about to get a lot worse. Cori’s going to get a reality check on just how rough it can be to get on Joe’s bad side, regardless of party lines. Down the line, when she looks back on moments like this, where she publicly slammed Biden over Israel and Hamas, she might just wish she could hit a rewind button.
But it wasn’t just Israel and Palestine that Cori went after Biden on; she also attacked him for not saying the word “abortion” enough.
Bush made a statement regarding the allegations against her, claiming she’s done nothing wrong.
The Guardian:
Congresswoman Cori Bush just appeared on the steps of the Capitol, where she read to reporters the statement she released earlier this afternoon acknowledging she was under federal investigation but denying ever misusing taxpayer funds.
Bush departed without taking questions. Earlier in the day, Pete Aguilar, the chair of the House Democratic Caucus, declined to comment on reports that the Missouri progressive was under federal investigation[.]
Reporter: “Do you have any comment on the reports that Rep. Cori Bush is under federal investigation?”

She also swatted him for not mentioning saving black lives often enough, and the list goes on.
With all due respect, Mr. President. You didn’t mention saving Black lives once in this speech.
All our country has done is given more funding to police. The result? 2021 set a record for fatal police shootings.
Defund the police. Invest in our communities. https://t.co/t0n0EpHMwd

It looks like Cori hasn’t been watching what happens to folks who butt heads with Biden. She’s in for a fast and rough wake-up call, and it’s not going to be pretty. Grab your popcorn, because this is the only time Democrats go down—when they take each other out.
