Hunter Biden made an unexpected appearance at today’s hearing to discuss whether he should face contempt charges for defying a congressional subpoena. Of course, he should. After all, his own father pushed for the prosecution of those, like Steve Bannon, who ignored the J6 subpoenas—a stance that Bannon faced prosecution for. So, why should Hunter receive different treatment?

Well, the reason why is because Hunter is a privileged Biden Boy who doesn’t have to play by the same rules as you and me. Here’s what Biden said in 2021 about anybody who defies subpoenas:

President Joe Biden on Friday said those who refuse subpoenas from the House select committee investigating the January 6 riot at the US Capitol should be prosecuted by the Justice Department.

Asked by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins what his message is to those who refuse subpoenas from the panel, Biden said, “I hope that the committee goes after them and holds them accountable.”

Pressed on whether he thinks those people should be prosecuted by the department, the President said, “I do, yes.”

Hunter showed up today but didn’t stay for long.

 Hunter Biden arrived on Capitol Hill on Wednesday morning to attend in person congressional committee meetings called to hold him in contempt of Congress — setting up an unprecedented standoff on live television between the son of the president and House Republicans who have long sought his testimony as part of their impeachment inquiry into his father.

Hunter Biden was accompanied by his attorneys Abbe Lowell and Kevin Morris and did not initially respond to questions.

House Republicans on the Oversight and Judiciary Committees were holding separate committee votes on Wednesday recommending that Hunter Biden be charged with contempt.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene clearly rattled Hunter Biden. The moment she began speaking, he appeared visibly shaken, quickly getting up and signaling to his legal team to exit.

However, the highlight of the day came when an unidentified reporter posed a bold question to the first son, inquiring about his preferred type of crack cocaine and whether he was under its influence today.

As expected, Hunter chose to ignore the question. However, given Hunter’s well-known penchant for luxury, one would imagine that he’d opt for only the finest-quality rocks that money can buy.

Needless to say, the internet has been abuzz with “crack memes” that are spreading rapidly in a fast and furious style.
