You won’t believe what they’re trying to do in Ireland regarding “unapproved” memes. However, you should believe it because it’s essentially already happening in the United States, and the majority of people aren’t even aware of it. Ireland is seeking to make it illegal to store “unapproved” memes on devices like your phone.

Yes, it sounds like something out of communist North Korea, but what you probably don’t realize is that they’re already laying the groundwork for this same thing here in the United States, thanks to a case involving a young man by the name of Douglass Mackey. Now, let’s take a closer look at how this connects to what’s happening with the Irish bill.

In essence, if the bill is approved, it would mean that under Irish law, any political discussions labeled as “unapproved” and the act of saving “unapproved” memes to your device would become illegal. This isn’t just outrageous; it’s undeniably draconian. The Irish Prime Minister should be forced to resign over this tyranny.

They are openly restricting freedom for the “common good.” It sounds a lot like the great COVID reset, right?

Douglass Mackey was convicted of election interference and “conspiracy” simply for sharing an obviously humorous meme that poked fun at Hillary and her low-info supporters. Now, he’s facing a 7-month sentence in a federal prison just for sharing that meme on Twitter nearly 8 years ago. It’s also important to note that there were no actual “victims” as a result of Mr. Mackey sharing that meme, yet he’s still going to jail for it. This situation is equally, if not more, outrageous than what’s unfolding in Ireland. Douglass Mackey recently joined Tucker Carlson to talk about his trial, conviction, and the emerging American “police state.”

The silver lining here is that Douglass Mackey remains in the fight, not just for himself but for all of us and our right to free speech, including the ability to joke around online without the fear of ending up in a gulag. Mr. Mackey is prepared to take this battle to the Supreme Court if necessary, but he can’t do it alone.
