Imagine being labeled a “terrorist” in the United States for simply tearing down a fence, or spending almost two decades behind bars for a non-violent act. Well, that’s exactly what’s happened for Joe Biggs, a former InfoWars journalist, as part of the latest chapter of unjust treatment of January 6th political prisoners. Joe Biggs is a two-time Purple Heart recipient, a father to a young daughter, and a son supporting his mother who’s fighting cancer. He spent a mere 20 minutes at the Capitol, yet he’s now facing nearly two decades behind bars in federal prison.

Does that sound like “justice”? It sounds more like a twisted game where activist judges (yes, on both sides) join forces with regime prosecutors to create these politically-driven sentences so they can send the American people a “message.” This looks nothing like justice; it’s more of a mob mentality at work.

But it gets worse. The DOJ and Trump-appointed Judge Tim Kelly have successfully branded the act of tearing down a FENCE an act of terrorism for the purposes of enhancing Biggs’ sentence.

Meanwhile, there’s Ray Epps, a man who was caught on video orchestrating a mob on January 5th and then apparently spearheaded the charge on January 6th and who hasn’t faced any charges whatsoever. Ray Epps is just hanging around, doing 60 Minute interviews, and it’s a good bet that he’ll probably become a millionaire a few times over after Fox News settles his sham lawsuit.

And what about Antifa? We all remember the George Floyd riots, but what about the 2017 Antifa rioters who went on a rampage during President Trump’s inauguration…

But don’t worry, nothing happened to those violent communists. After all, they were just trying to “save democracy.”

Sadly, this notion of “justice” completely flies out the window when former-presidents are arrested by their rivals, when young men are staring at a decade behind bars for sharing an anti-Hillary meme, and when Iraqi War veterans are slapped with close to two decades in prison for non-violent actions. What’s unfolding in the USA looks like what we’d expect to see in places like North Korea, not in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

What’s even more shocking is that as long as this sentence is, it’s only HALF of what the feds actually wanted.

Joe Biggs, a Proud Boys leader convicted of seditious conspiracy who the government says “served as an instigator and leader” during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, was sentenced to 17 years in federal prison Thursday.

It is among the longest sentences in Capitol riot cases. The record is the 18-year sentence given to Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes, also convicted of seditious conspiracy, after prosecutors sought 25 years in federal prison.

The government sought 33 years for Biggs, an Army veteran who sustained a head injury in Iraq and then was a correspondent for the conspiracy website Infowars. Prosecutors argued that he was a “vocal leader and influential proponent of the group’s shift toward political violence” and that he used his “outsized public profile” and his military experience as he “led a revolt against the government in an effort to stop the peaceful transfer of power.”

U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly, who handed down Biggs’ sentence, ruled earlier in the hearing that Biggs’ tearing down of a fence between police and rioters qualified him for a terrorism sentencing enhancement sought by prosecutors. Destroying the fence was a “deliberate, meaningful step” that contributed to the disruption of the electoral vote count occurring in the Capitol, Kelly said.

These are very dark times in America, and it’s going to get worse before we see any light. Keep Joe Biggs, along with the other January 6th political prisoners in your thoughts and prayers as they confront a government that has become an unrecognizable force of darkness and evil.
