Some polls are showing that Vivek Ramaswamy emerged as the winner of the GOP debate, while others show he was certainly a top two performer. Ramaswamy is definitely the most “Trumpy” candidate out there and the most effective communicator, not just among the candidates, but across the conservative spectrum. It’s no secret that GOP politicians often come across as insincere opportunists, selling the public one narrative while pushing a different agenda behind the scenes. It’s like they’ve got a product to sell, but once you buy in, you find out it’s not what you ordered. Hmmm. Sound familiar, Speaker McCarthy?

That’s why President Trump stands out; he doesn’t play that game. His approach is like a gust of fresh air in a stuffy room. Vivek, although untested politically, is the same way rhetorically. The problem with most Republicans is that they suck when it comes to communicating. Their rhetoric often devolves into a blubbering mess of “Look at what the Dems are doing!” or “Here’s the latest outrageous thing!”

It’s a heck of a lot of bluster with very little articulation and demonstration of a real grasp on the problems that America faces. It’s like they’re stuck in a loop, complaining about the other side without laying out their own vision to fix things. Sometimes, GOP politicians are just too stupid to articulate things, but more often, the lack of articulation is by design. GOP politicians would often rather bamboozle the voters with platitudes rather than admit that many of the positions on issues they take (like funding the Ukraine or cutting Social Security) are highly unpopular with the American people.

That’s what’s so refreshing about Vivek. He’s not beholden to any donors, so he fearlessly articulates the problems America faces, the root causes of those problems, and what he would do to fix them.

Here is Vivek, unafraid of opposing the climate change hoax, which other GOP politicians are too afraid to touch even with a ten-foot pole.

Vivek does not shy away from Chuck Todd’s race-baiting in this segment:

During the recent debate, Vivek spoke fervently about foreign policy, a subject that hits home for many as we continue to funnel our hard-earned tax dollars into Ukraine. Meanwhile, the United States grapples with issues like rising crime rates, open borders, rampant drug abuse, and the ghastly events in Maui. Vivek says that if he were President, the focus of American foreign policy would be on defending our homeland — just as it should be.

Twitter:

As Commander-in-Chief, I will reorient our foreign policy from “liberal hegemony” to what I call the Modern Monroe Doctrine: don’t mess with our Homeland or our periphery. Period. That’s the priority, everything else is secondary. National defense will be about *defending* the homeland.

Vivek nailed one of those inarticulate politicians, Nikki Haley, on her neocon ideology that is highly unpopular with American voters across the spectrum. Nikki Haley was reduced to muttering platitudes about “experience”.

Nikki was particularly inarticulate in this moment, blubbering out a simply bizarre statement after getting emotional:

Vivek, like the other candidates sharing the stage, isn’t likely to become President, especially given that Trump is consistently polling above 50 percent. However, Vivek has a real chance to join Trump’s team, contributing his great communication skills and can-do attitude towards making America great again.
