The likelihood of Nikki Haley becoming the Queen of England is higher than her chances of becoming the GOP presidential nominee. Nikki is a classic case of a neocon establishment politician attempting to walk a tightrope between her true self and the image she wants MAGA to perceive, and her performance in this balancing act is a mess. Many insiders whisper that Nikki pursued a presidential run in hopes of becoming President Trump’s vice president, but even that plan seems to have fallen flat due to her lackluster response to the politicized, sham indictments targeting Trump. Currently, the consensus is that Nikki’s chances as a serious contender for Trump’s veep are rather slim.
Haley also said she’s only interested in the top job but is polling at around 4% to date. She brings a lot to the table as a former South Carolina governor and a woman of color who already served in the Trump administration as ambassador to the United Nations.
While Haley would seem like a strong fit, the pair have been on the outs of late. She was more dismissive of his latest indictment compared to some rivals, saying she’s tired of commenting on every Trump drama. That led the former president to go after Haley on her home turf, saying she was afraid to show up at a GOP gala.
Nikki Haley now finds herself caught in the crosshairs of America First voters – a very bad place to be. This came about after she targeted anti-establishment Senator Tommy Tuberville, criticizing his recent actions as “shameful.” Senator Tuberville, on the other hand, is valiantly battling against the left using every available tool, as we would expect from all Republicans. Unfortunately, Nikki once again aligns herself with the spineless GOP. Senator Tuberville started his “war” against the woke military several months back by blocking military promotions as a form of protest against woke policies that are destroying our once highly-respected military.
The first-term Republican has been blocking the military promotions as a protest against the Defense Department’s policy, announced in February, that grants service members leave and travel allowances for “non-covered reproductive health care,” including abortion procedures.
“I’m holding DoD nominations because the secretary of Defense is trying to push through a massive expansion of taxpayer-subsidized abortions — without going through this body. Without going through Congress,” Tuberville said on the Senate floor on March 8.
“Three months ago, I informed Secretary Austin that if he tried to turn the DoD into an abortion travel agency, I would place a hold on all civilian, flag, and general officer nominees.”
Tuberville argues that annually passed restrictions by Congress prohibiting federal funding for abortion procedures, except in cases of rape, incest and life-threatening pregnancies, prevent the Defense Department from giving leave or travel allowances for members seeking the procedure.
Nikki Haley labels this battle as “shameful.” It’s evident that Nikki lacks an understanding of what today’s GOP voters truly want. She seems to be stuck in 90s politics, engaging in her cutesy “tough girl” verbal zingers and aiming “friendly fire” at the politicians who genuinely listen to “we the people.” There’s no coming back from that. Even Mark Levin, someone who has actually been far too forgiving towards Neocon Nikki, had to school her on the real shame that’s happening within the U.S. military.
It has been evident for quite some time that Nikki Haley, the woman who essentially kick started the left’s war against statues and flags by buckling and removing the Confederate flag from the South Carolina State Capitol, is not “presidential” material. And as recent events have proven, she’s also not vice-presidential material either. It might be about time for Nikki to gather her belongings and head back home — perhaps she can land a nice little cozy pundit role over at CNN where she belongs.
