As we’ve seen, Democrats prioritize being the “first” more so than excellence. This is why they’re such big fans of affirmative action. A prime example of this screwy “first” mentality is Justice Ketanji Jackson. She was arguably chosen not for her intellect or capability but rather because she is a black woman, and it shows. Another “first” for Democrats is a cross-dressing man who goes by the name “Stacie” Laughton. Mr. Laughton became the nation’s first openly transgender state representative who’s been arrested on child pornography and child exploitation charges. Quite a remarkable “first”, indeed. Congratulations to the Democrats on this dubious distinction!

A former New Hampshire state lawmaker and the one-time partner of a woman charged with taking sexually explicit photos of children at the Massachusetts day care center where she worked has also been charged in the case, federal prosecutors said Tuesday.

Stacie Marie Laughton, 39, of Nashua, New Hampshire, is charged with aiding and abetting the sexual exploitation of children, the U.S. attorney’s office in Boston said in a statement.

No defense attorney was listed for Laughton in court records. She will appear in court at a later date.

Lindsay Groves, 38, of Hudson, New Hampshire, was charged last month with sexual exploitation of children and distribution of child pornography for allegedly taking nude photos of children at Creative Minds Early Learning Center in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, and texting them to another person.

Prosecutors said Tuesday that a preliminary forensic review of Groves’ cellphone allegedly revealed more than 10,000 text messages between Laughton and Groves. The texts allegedly included discussion about, and transfer of, explicit photographs that Groves had taken of children who appear to be about 3 to 5 years old.

Groves remains in state custody in New Hampshire. An email seeking comment was left with her federal public defender.

As journalist Mike Cernovich points out, one look at cross-dressing Stacie should have been anyone’s clue to steer clear. And if that frightful scene wasn’t enough to scare someone off, Mr. Laughton’s past criminal record should have been a massive red flag. But the modern Democrat Party doesn’t care about perversion or criminal records — as a matter of fact, those are cornerstones of the party these days, so it’s no wonder that Dem bigwigs were proud to be pictured with Mr. Laughton.

This really makes you question the morals and decision-making of these individuals, right? This also explains why Swalwell was so easily fooled by a Chinese spy, and why Beto’s campaign turned out to be a dud. Let’s face it, if we saw a hulking figure like Stacie thumping down an alley, we’d probably turn and make a quick exit. Yet, Democratic politicians not only embrace the unusual and mentally unstable, but they also actively push for such twisted and confused individuals to get elected.
