Bud Light should hire the Revolver Marketing team as we’ve devised a brilliant, foolproof plan to help the floundering beer company recover. As it stands now, Bud Light is sinking faster than a sack full of hammers.
Bud Light is showing no signs of rebounding from its slump as sales plunged even further in June, recent industry data shows.
Sales of the popular beer dropped 28% for the week ending June 24 when compared to the same period last year, according to beer tracker Bump Williams Consulting. Sales of Yuengling Lager, Coors Light and Miller Lite all rose by 22%, 19% and 16% respectively during that same week.
That adds up to around $26.3 million less for Bud Light compared to a year ago, according to data from consumer behavior data analytics firm Circana, which measured one-week sales for Bud Light ending June 25. Coors Light and Mexican pilsner Modelo Especial each saw their sales grow by roughly $10.4 million during that same weekspan, Circana said.
While it might seem impossible for Bud Light to rebound after disrespecting their customers with their transgender marketing ploy, Revolver is convinced that the we hold the key to Bud Light’s rebirth.
A recent report from the Wall Street Journal suggest that Tucker is constructing his own media empire which will host his show among others. If Bud Light truly wants to regain the respect of its former customers, they should consider getting in on the ground floor of this new venture and become a leading sponsor of Tucker’s new media project. So, why could this move be the “saving grace” for Bud Light? Well, remember, Tucker Carlson:
1. is the number one most popular name in news.
2. had the largest audience of Republicans, Independents, and Democrats among young people.
3. at one point registered a 59 percent favorable rating.
A Rasmussen survey suggested that Tucker Carlson is more popular than all of Fox News.
According to a Rasmussen poll, 59% of likely United States voters have a favorable impression of Tucker Carlson, which included 36% who hold a very favorably opinion of him. 34% of likely voters view Carlson unfavorably, which includes 25% with a very unfavorable impression of the former Fox News host.
Carlson’s favorability rating is higher than Fox News, which is viewed favorably by 52% of voters, which includes 24% with a very favorable opinion. 42% view Fox News unfavorably, which includes 28% with a very unfavorable impression.
Fox News’ ratings have fallen since the April 23 announcement that the network seemingly fired Carlson.
Only 19% of voters believe Tucker Carlson’s exit will make Fox News better. By contrast, 32% believe Carlson’s exit will worsen the network. 41% said Carlson’s departure will not make much of a difference at Fox. Unsurprisingly, Carlson is viewed most favorably among Republican voters and individuals who identify as conservative.
Also, interesting to note is that Tucker is surprisingly very popular amongst millennials, which is a target audience for Bud Light.
Tucker’s new media project sounds like a surefire success.
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and former White House adviser Neil Patel are seeking to raise funds to start a new media company that would potentially use Twitter as its backbone, according to people familiar with the matter.
The new company would be anchored by longer versions of the free videos that Carlson has been posting regularly on Twitter since shortly after his departure from Fox News, but would ultimately be driven by subscriptions, some of the people said.
Carlson and Patel are looking to raise hundreds of millions of dollars to fund the company, the people said.
Users of Twitter and other platforms would still be able to watch free, shorter versions of his show, interviews and documentaries, but would need to subscribe to watch them in their entirety, the people said. The company would eventually add shows from additional hosts, they said.
Carlson and Patel were roommates at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., from which they graduated in 1991, and in 2010 teamed up to found the conservative Daily Caller news site, which Patel still controls. They have lined up financiers, lawyers and media strategists to work on the new company, according to people familiar with the effort.
Carlson’s team met with a Twitter team in recent weeks to discuss the endeavor, people familiar with the matter said.
Carlson and Patel’s new company would also have its own website and mobile app, and is exploring other homes beyond Twitter for its content as well, some of the people said.
What’s more, they’ve reportedly discussed bringing on big-name sponsors.
Twitter and Carlson’s team have discussed potentially having a set of big brands sponsor Carlson’s show, according to people familiar with the matter.
Tucker’s media empire could be the ideal platform for disgraced Bud Light to stage a comeback. Honestly, at this point, it might be their only option to avoid disappearing into the black hole of “woke” oblivion.
