Looking at America’s food habits, it’s clear we’ve gone off track. We’ve morphed into a society of emotional eaters, hooked on the idea that “more is better.” As a result, we’ve become a nation packed with overweight, lazy people. At the same time, we’ve got these food activists pushing hard for overly processed, chemical-filled meat substitutes to please the climate change gods.

What’s the result? We’re left with a country full of folks who are overweight, unhealthy, and grappling with a mountain of health and mental problems. You look at the folks in Europe who are eating pasta, butter, pastry, and meat, and they look so healthy and fit. Why?

Look at these young folks in Russia, you’d be hard-pressed to find an unhealthy, overweight one in the bunch.

Now, imagine if that was a room filled with young Americans.

Why are today's young women so unashamed about being fat? | Daily Mail Online

Go back in time a bit and you’d find that an American crowd would look just like that Russian video — healthy, fit, and high-spirited. But if you even mention this nowadays, the left will slap you with the “fat-phobic” label and give you a lecture on how obesity is beautiful, you bigot.

That brings us to Marilyn Monroe’s eating habits…

Looks pretty good, no? Well, our modern media doesn’t think so. They’ve labeled Marilyn’s diet “bizarre” and scoffed at the simple, natural elements of it. The folks at Vogue are bewildered by a diet that focuses on animal protein. They think it’s primitive of Marilyn. They’re probably wondering, “Where’s the soy”?

But really, what’s so strange about eating natural, unprocessed foods? Apparently, consuming meat, as nature intended, is considered eccentric to left-wing radicals.

Vouge:

When it comes to her diet, however, routine is the name of the game. “I’ve been told that my eating habits are absolutely bizarre, but I don’t think so. Before I take my morning shower, I start warming a cup of milk on the hot plate I keep in my hotel room. When it’s hot, I break two raw eggs into the milk, whip them up with a fork, and drink them while I’m dressing. I supplement this with a multivitamin pill, and I doubt if any doctor could recommend a more nourishing breakfast for a working girl in a hurry.” Editor’s note: we’re less than convinced by that last statement.

As for her dinner? “Every night I stop at the market near my hotel and pick up a steak, lamb chops or some liver, which I broil in the electric oven in my room. I usually eat four or five raw carrots with my meat, and that is all. I must be part rabbit; I never get bored with raw carrots… It’s a good thing, I suppose, that I eat simply during the day, for in recent months I have developed the habit of stopping off at Wil Wright’s ice cream parlour for a hot fudge sundae on my way home from my evening drama classes.”

Marylin’s #1 health tip? Get good sleep. Amen, she’s right. That’s another thing anxious Americans are lacking – quality sleep.

Vogue:

Her one sound wellness tip? Making sleep a real priority. “By nature, I suppose I have a languorous disposition. I hate to do things in a hurried, tense atmosphere, and it is virtually impossible for me to spring out of bed in the morning. On Sunday, which is my one day of total leisure, I sometimes take two hours to wake up, luxuriating in every last moment of drowsiness. Depending upon my activities, I sleep between five and 10 hours every night. I sleep in an extra-wide single bed, and I use only one heavy down comforter over me, summer or winter. I have never been able to wear pyjamas or creepy nightgowns; they disturb my sleep.”

Marilyn knew exactly what her body needed to stay in peak form — a lesson many folks today should take to heart. If Marilyn were around today, her diet — which is pretty much “Paleo-centric” — would probably make her a viral sensation on TikTok.
