This probably won’t come as a shock to many, but in case you didn’t hear yet, Hunter Biden was just gifted a “sweetheart” deal from the feds. Unlike President Trump, who faces life in prison for possessing his own “unclassified documents,” Hunter Biden, who smoked crack and had sexual relations with underage prostitutes and illegally purchased a firearm, just walked away with the most gentle slap on the wrist you’ve ever seen: pretrial diversion.

Hunter Biden, President Biden’s son, has reached a tentative deal with the U.S. attorney in Delaware, agreeing to enter guilty pleas to two misdemeanortax charges and admitting to felony gun possession, according to a Justice Department filing.

Hunter Biden’s plea will include an acknowledgement that drug use was a contributing factor in his gun crime and is entering into a pretrial diversion agreement, according to the filing. A source with knowledge of the agreement said it is expected to mean that for two years, Hunter Biden must remain drug-free and can’t commit additional crimes. If Hunter Biden fulfills this successfully, the gun count would be dismissed. This does not amount to a guilty plea.

A federal judge in Delaware must approve the deal. Hunter is expected to enter a plea to the charges specified in the agreement at a hearing in U.S. District Court in Wilmington. A hearing has not yet been scheduled.

The two misdemeanor tax charges relate to his willful failure to pay taxes for 2017 and 2018. A filing indicates Hunter Biden had more than $1.5 million in income each year. He has since fully repaid back taxes and fines, including $2 million reportedly paid to the federal government last year, with the help of a loan from his personal attorney. The felony gun charge relates to his possession of a handgun by a drug user in 2018. The filing identifies Biden’s handgun as a Colt Cobra 38SPL.

Chris Clark, an attorney for Hunter Biden, said “it is my understanding that the five-year investigation into Hunter is resolved,” in a statement to CBS News.

Hunter is being given pretrial diversion on the felony charge so that, as long as he keeps his hands clean for a year, he will not be considered a felon. Well, isn’t that convenient? If you or I had done what Hunter did, we’d be sitting in a jail cell right now. But because it’s Hunter Biden — a liberal crackhead, amateur porn-maker, and supposedly the smartest guy Joe Biden knows — he gets off scot-free. Let freedom ring!

This is Potemkin Justice worthy of the Soviet Union: now, Merrick Garland and Joe Biden can now viciously and unjustly target their political enemies for crimes and point to Hunter Biden — “see, we even prosecuted Hunter! Justice is blind!”

Meanwhile, Douglass Mackey was convicted of conspiracy in a New York City courtroom for sharing a funny, obviously unserious anti-Hillary meme back in 2016,  and he now faces 10 years in a federal prison. But we all knew this would happen. People like Hunter Biden never face consequences, and President Trump predicted it long ago. He understood exactly how this would unfold because he’s intimately and personally aware of the twisted and unjust two-tiered political system we’re in the midst of.

And what about the bribery and financial pay-to-play scandal with the Ukraine? Presumably, that whole thing will now quietly fade away into the sunset. After all, justice has been served! Justice is indeed blind! Even the president’s son is held accountable! Blah, blah, blah… it’s all hogwash. Because in a traditional investigation, the feds would have put the squeeze on Hunter and forced him to cough up the goods on his father, Joe Biden. After all, they had Hunter dead to rights and could have easily obtained a cooperation agreement whereby he had to squeal on The Big Guy. If Hunter stayed strong and didn’t flip, the Feds would then either force him to plead guilty to all the charges (no cushy pretrial diversion) or take the case to trial and drop the hammer on Hunter.

But none of that happened, and that’s because we no longer live in a real country. We’ve turned into a Banana Republic, where glorified janitor Merrick Garland — who mopped up the Oklahoma City bombing — protects ancient, corrupt fossil Joe Biden. When it comes to “wokeism,” we are not simply suffering through dancing transvestites on our nation’s streets and teachers trying to turn kids gay; we are also dealing with “woke” justice at the highest level of politics — third-world Maoist law enforcement tactics from this far-left, radical regime.
