It’s no secret that Meghan Markle had political delusions of grandeur. Numerous insiders have claimed that she wanted to be a prominent figure in the world of DC politics, even believing she had what it takes to become the first female President of the United States. While this might sound insane to many, like most elites, Meghan lives in a bubble, blissfully unaware of what a joke she has become throughout regular society. However, Meghan found out today that her dreams of becoming the president of the most powerful country in the world have gone up in smoke after Spotify announced they are canceling Meghan and Harry’s podcast deal.

Meghan Markle’s “Archetypes” Spotify podcast won’t be renewed for a second season, according to people familiar with the matter, a casualty of the audio company’s overhaul of its approach to podcasting.

Producers of the show, which explored labels that hold women back, have been told that a second season won’t move forward, the people said, following discussions months ago about the possibility of one.

Markle’s podcast is the only project she and her husband, Prince Harry, completed for Spotify Technology after signing a roughly $20 million overall deal with the company in late 2020. The couple hasn’t met the productivity benchmarks required to receive the full payout from the deal, people familiar with the matter said.

The cancellation is a sign of the continuing correction in the podcast market, a format popular among listeners, but one that has proved hard to make profitable for Spotify and many of its rivals.

This news comes as a major blow to Meghan because this podcast was supposed to be the springboard to launch her political career. Meghan made grand promises of featuring big political names on the show, but she didn’t deliver. Instead of securing guests like Michelle or Barack Obama, Meghan ended up hosting Paris Hilton. Clearly, A-list political movers and shakers didn’t want to sully their reputations by appearing on a podcast next to the unpopular and toxic Meghan Markle. This turn of events is undoubtedly crushing for her, considering the initial high expectations she and everyone had set for the podcast.

Even worse, it’s now come to light that apparently Meghan faked her podcasts.

New York Post:

Just after Spotify’s breakup with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a new report alleges that Markle’s interviews for her “Archetypes” podcast were not conducted by her.

Podnews reported that some of the show’s interviews were done by members of the duchess’s staff — and audio of her voice asking the questions was clipped in later.

The Post has reached out to representatives for Markle and Archewell Audio for comment.

The revelations come shortly after Spotify and Archewell said in a joint statement to The Post that they have “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”

To add insult to injury, famous sports commentator and Spotify exec Bill Simmons recently unloaded on the famous couple in the media, calling them “grifters” and saying that Harry “sucks”.

“I wish I had been involved in the Meghan and Harry leave Spotify negotiation. The f-cking grifters. That’s the podcast we should have launched with them. I gotta get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom I had with Harry to try and help him with a podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories.”

Back in January, Bill Simmons said that Prince Harry should be ‘shot into the sun.’

Telling Meghan and Harry, who are falling out of favor with practically everyone, to regroup and disappear for a few years, is actually sound PR advice. If these two media whores continue to jockey for headlines, they’re going to find themselves on very bottom of the D-list, a place Meghan is all-too familiar with, thanks to her embarrassing acting career.
