As many of you may already know, Tucker Carlson hosted a show on Fox Nation, Fox News’ subscription-based streaming service called “Tucker Today.”

While Tucker’s show featured captivating interviews and high-quality content, it’s worth noting that cable news streaming services like Fox Nation haven’t really caught on with viewers. Though it’s difficult to find exact ratings for Fox Nation, other cable news streaming services have struggled. CNN Plus launched in March 2022 and was subsequently shut down due to lack of interest.

In the case of Fox Nation, the lack of interest wasn’t Tucker’s fault. As a matter of fact, Tucker is likely the main reason for sign-ups. However, the site was clunky and unusable, and offered users an awkward experience. It turns out Tucker was aware of the site’s issues and was not a fan of Fox Nation. We discovered this firsthand via a private conversation he had with a Fox News employee.

In the leaked video, Tucker and an unidentified male are discussing wardrobe options for his “Tucker Today” show, when Tucker reveals what he really thinks of “Fox Nation.”

The leaked video was released with the intention of making Tucker Carlson look bad. However, the opposite occurred and his fans actually loved the candid video of Tucker being bluntly honest. He didn’t mince words: “the site sucks,” he said bluntly.

The day Tucker and Fox parted ways, many Fox Nation subscribers canceled their membership.

It’s anyone’s guess how the already struggling site will fare now that its big star is gone.
