There is no denying that Tucker Carlson tackled many issues that other mainstream media hosts shied away from. One of those “taboo topics” was the Ukraine war—something Tucker was vehemently against.

During one episode in which Tucker defended Jack Teixera, the young man accused of leaking classified documents that proved the Biden regime was lying about the war in Ukraine, Tucker said the following:

“The United States is a direct combatant in a war against Russia. As we speak, American soldiers are fighting Russian soldiers. This is a hot war between the two primary nuclear superpowers on Earth, and yet this war has never been formally declared. It has not been authorized by Congress. And for that reason, this war is a violation of American law. It is a crime.”

And during that episode, Tucker went on to defend Teixera. He even suggested that the young man should be celebrated for his actions as a whistleblower. When the left blows the whistle, they’re heroes—when the right does it, they’re criminals.

Another time, Tucker said Zelensky dressed like the manager of a strip club:

“Somehow we were reminded of it today when the president of Ukraine arrived at the White House, dressed like the manager of a strip club and started to demand money. Amazingly, no one threw him out. Instead, they did whatever he wanted.”

Regardless of how anybody feels about the whistleblower or Zelensky, the American people have a right to know what their government is doing, and clearly, they’re not going to fess up on their own. With Tucker’s departure, the question now is: who will be Fox News’ anti-war advocate?

Anybody?

It’s a good question, and many people are wondering the same thing.

And while the American people, who are tired of losing their brave men and women in other people’s wars, are pushing back against our involvement in Ukraine, the GOP neocons are celebrating Tucker’s removal from Fox News.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s sudden departure from the cable network is being greeted as good news by Republicans who support U.S. intervention in the war in Ukraine.

Carlson was one of the most prominent critics of U.S. involvement to defend Kyiv against Moscow’s invasion.

“It’s a bad day for Vladimir Putin,” a Senate Republican aide said. “This takes one of the biggest critics of Ukraine war in Republican and conservative circles off the table.”

The aide noted that some GOP senators were also uncomfortable with what they viewed as Carlson’s over-the-top rhetoric opposing vaccine mandates, which divided conservatives during the pandemic.

Right on cue, warmonger and RINO traitor Mitt Romney is also expressing relief that Tucker’s anti-war voice was silenced on Fox News.

One Republican senator, who requested anonymity to comment on a media figure who had a loyal following among many right-leaning voters, said Carlson’s departure from prime time would be a positive development for maintaining public support for the war.

“He wasn’t troubled by whether something was true or not. He was mean, irresponsible and dangerous,” the lawmaker said.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), who has called the Ukraine crisis “one of the greatest demonstrations of good versus evil we’ve seen in our lifetimes,” said Carlson had a big influence on many Republicans.

“There have been some that have argued that he was setting foreign policy for the Republican Party, which I find to be bizarre. Certainly not for me,” he said. “To the primary [Republican] voter, the active participant, the grassroot voter, he’s a person they listen to and has a big influence.”

Asked how he evaluated Carlson’s influence on the GOP electorate, Romney said “it depends on the issue but I think with regards to Russia and Ukraine he was misguided.”

Also, right on cue, in the wake of Tucker’s departure, Fox is quickly promoting a pro-war stance. Brian Kilmeade is even using the “ISIS comeback” scare-tactic to not-so-subtly urge the US to send troops back to Afghanistan.

Based on all of this, many Americans speculate that Murdoch’s decision to remove Tucker could have been related to his anti-WW3 stance, which resonated with the public’s disgust over these prolonged wars. In other words, Tucker’s views may have posed a threat to the uniparty’s agenda. According to the Washington Post, Murdoch was actually furious when Tucker referred to Zelensky as a “Ukraine Pimp” during one of his shows.

But according to people familiar with their conversation and Murdoch’s thinking, the 92-year-old billionaire founder of Fox News had grown weary of some of Carlson’s increasingly far-right commentary on his nightly prime-time show — as well as some of the swaggering host’s behind-the-scenes attitude.

At that particular moment, he was disturbed by Carlson’s stance on Ukraine. A graphic on Carlson’s show had referred to Volodymyr Zelensky, president of the besieged nation, as a “Ukrainian pimp,” and the host had repeatedly excoriated the U.S. government for providing aid to its defense against Russian attacks.

These stances had made Carlson a star on Russian state-controlled TV. But they had drawn furious blowback from powerful Republicans who see U.S. support for Ukraine as a bulwark in a fight for freedom and democracy — some of whom had Murdoch’s ear. After one such on-air segment in mid-March, Murdoch joined a Fox newsroom meeting to loudly challenge Carlson’s message, according to people familiar with the meeting, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of newsroom confidentiality policies.

Tucker Carlson’s departure from primetime television has left a dark and massive void in the media landscape; as he was one of the only prominent voices speaking out against the Ukraine war. Now, without Tucker’s anti-war perspective, some believe Fox News will become a propaganda machine for the warmongering establishment. Sadly, it appears to already be happening…
