With the whole country focused on Trump’s imminent arrest, critical details of the Trump indictment happen to land in the lap of one curious figure — Michael Isikoff, the Chief Investigative Correspondence for Yahoo News. Isikoff reported the explosive story that Trump will be charged with 34 separate felony counts related to falsification of business records, and that he would likely not take a mug shot, be cuffed or have to spend time in jail.

Trump responded to the leak of these sensitive details with characteristic verve and vigor:

Wow! District Attorney Bragg just illegally LEAKED the various points, and complete information, on the pathetic Indictment against me. I know the reporter and so, unfortunately, does he. This means that he MUST BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED. Now, if he wants to really clean up his reputation, he will do the honorable thing and, as District Attorney, INDICT HIMSELF. He will go down in Judicial history, and his Trump Hating wife will be, I am sure, very proud of him!

The incestuous and collaborative relationship between the deep state, the democrat regime, and cherry-picked favorite reporters is an important one worth exploring in comprehensive detail. For now, it will suffice to point out that Michael Isikoff, the reporter to whom DA Bragg evidently leaked details of the Trump indictment to, was also a key purveyor of the Russia-gate hoax.

Indeed, Isikoff was one of the handful of reporters that Steele briefed on the dossier, and it was Isikoff’s write-up on the dossier that served as the pretext for the FBI to get a FISA surveillance warrant on Trump aide Carter Page

On four occasions, the FBI told the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) court that it “did not believe” Steele was the direct source for Isikoff’s Sept. 23, 2016 Yahoo News article implicating former Trump aide Carter Page in Russian collusion.

Instead, the FBI suggested to the court, the article by Michael Isikoff was independent corroboration of the salacious, unverified allegations against Trump in the infamous Steele dossier. Federal authorities used both the Steele dossier and Yahoo News article to convince the FISA court to authorize a surveillance warrant for Page.

But London court records show that contrary to the FBI’s assessments, Steele briefed Yahoo News and other reporters in the fall of 2016 at the direction of Fusion GPS — the opposition research firm behind the dossier. The revelations were contained heavily-redacted documents released earlier this year after a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by the organization Judicial Watch.

Indeed, what are the odds that an alumnus of the Clinton-affiliated law firm responsible for cooking up the Steele Dossier in the first place would be representing Ray Epps?
