Yesterday kicked off off the House Oversight’s Committee’s probe into Twitter’s role in suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story.

Mike Benz, the executive director of the Foundation For Freedom Online provided some of the most in-depth coverage of the hearings.

Mike says that what’s at the very core of this entire investigation is Twitter’s system of censorship that centered around silencing discussions about elections and a whole host of other issues, including COVID-19 and the vaccine.

The three witnesses testifying before the committee were Twitter’s former Head of Trust and Safety Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former chief legal officer Vijaya Gadde, and the Democrat’s witness Anika Collier Navaroli, a former Twitter employee turned “whistleblower” who also testified at the January 6th hearings.

Below is a recap of all the highlights and lowlights from this much-anticipated proceeding.

Out of the gate, Rep. Comer landed a couple good punches, by framing Twitter as a virtual “town square,” and highlighted the stark contrast between the “pre and post” Elon Musk days.

Rep. Comer also confronted Roth on calling Trump supporters “Nazis.”

Comer also flipped the tables on the trio of witnesses:

Yoel Roth, former head of Trust and Safety (read chief censor) at Twitter tried to defend his reprehensible actions:

Watch:

AOC and Yoel Roth also expressed angst that the “Libs of TikTok” an account that exposes left-wing abuse of children hadn’t been deleted off the site. They also lied about a Boston Children’s Hospital story:

Professor Turley found Rep. Raskin and his Democrat witness Anika Collier Navaroli’s exchange especially chilling:

Democrat witness Anika Collier Navaroli brought up January 6th. She also attacked President Trump for his comments on an assassinated Iranian general:

Nancy Mace made Gadde look like a total fool.

Full clip here, where Mace reveals suffering a devastating vaccine injury:

Marjorie Taylor Greene called out former Twitter “Trust and Safety” executive Yoel Roth for advocating for minors you use a gay online dating site and asked him about his tweet questioning if high school students and teachers could consent to a sexual relationship.

Watch:

Revolver actually found Yoel Roth’s gay sex dissertation online before it was wiped off the internet.

Revolver:

…This dissertation managed to be both unreadable and disgusting at the same-time—combining the cognitive hygiene of a gas station bathroom stall with the circumlocution of a dollar-store Judith Butler.

[…]

Despite its title, “Gay Data” actually has very little data in it. Instead, it’s a 300-page deluge of jargon and analysis of Grindr and its fellow gay dating apps. We speculate that we may have been the first people to even read the dissertation in full. And yes, we’re including Roth’s professors, and perhaps even Roth himself.

And speaking of Roth, Rep. Donalds left him and the other witnesses speechless when he suggested that Twitter may have broken federal election laws.

Twitter’s former chief legal officer Vijaya Gadde says in hindsight, they should have allowed the New York Post story:

Rep. Higgins was fired up and warned the trio of witnesses that right now this is the investigation…

Later, comes the arrests:

But AOC doesn’t see it that way. She called the hearings a “political operation” and “embarrassing.”

GOP Rep. Nancy Mace fired back, and called Twitter a subsidiary of the FBI:

Revolver’s January 16h piece titled, “Take Me to Church: The Straight Dope House Republicans Need to Take Down the Deep State With Church Committee 2.0” addresses this very topic and provides a solution for the GOP.

Go to church…

The Church Committee, that is… a committee dedicated to investigating the weaponization of the FBI and others.

And President Trump also agrees with Revolver’s assessment.

During the exclusive Revolver interview, Trump  went on the record supporting such a Church-style committee:

You can listen to the entire Trump interview here.

Rep Andy Biggs tweeted live from the hearing:

At one point, the lights went out in the middle of the hearing, and Rep Palmer lightened the mood by suggesting it was the “Green New Deal” that caused the blackout.

S

Paul Sperry says CSPAN also lost their feed and began replaying Biden’s controversial SOTU address.

Many people believe this is another attempt at a “coverup.” One Twitter user said, “Just the most revealing public testimony we have seen maybe ever, and C-SPAN “lost signal” from the Twitter hearing, can’t seem to get it to work. Big Pharma, Big Tech, DNC, FBI/DHS, CDC, NIH; nearly every element of the Deep State is getting exposed, and they “lost” the feed…”
