For decades, the Super Bowl halftime show has functioned as a kind of cultural coronation. Whoever stands on that stage isn’t just performing. They’re being anointed by the NFL, the entertainment industry, and the entire media machine as the voice of America for that moment. Even if the show doesn’t appeal to everybody.
To be fair, the other 3/4 of the Super Bowl could’ve been totally into Bad Bunny… pic.twitter.com/5YJIcsOCmz

President Trump wasn’t impressed by the non-English-speaking halftime show.
And until now, there’s never been a real alternative.
But this year, that changed…
While the official halftime broadcast featured Bad Bunny performing in Spanish to a global audience, Turning Point USA quietly launched a parallel show online, headlined by Kid Rock. It was a fully produced, competing cultural event… and the numbers are staggering.
Almost 18 million views and 778K likes in 5 hours for TPUSA’s Halftime Show on one stream.

Now even legacy media is taking notice.
TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet has suggested that number could rise to 50 million for the event, which took place during rapper Bad Bunny’s Spanish performance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
“I can tell you that’s a shot across the bow. People are paying attention,” Kolvet told Fox News host Brian Kilmeade on Sunday evening. “And, you know, if you give us a year to plan this thing—I’m really excited to see what we can pull off.”
Official viewership figures for the official halftime show have yet to be announced. Newsweek has contacted Nielsen Media Research for the latest. By comparison, over 130 million tuned in for Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 performance.
While always a culturally significant event, this year’s Super Bowl halftime show became a political flashpoint due to the nationality of the 31-year-old Puerto Rican headliner and his expressed opposition to the U.S. administration. Bad Bunny, who took home Album of the Year at last week’s Grammy Awards, has been vocal in his criticism of Donald Trump’s immigration policies and openly endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race.
Kid Rock dominated.
🚨 LFG!!! Kid Rock just rolled in with the most BAD*SS entrance ever at the All-American Halftime Show, and we’re OVER 5 MILLION confirmed watching LIVE!

But even more than that, TPUSA offered an alternative and helped recalibrate the culture stranglehold that the NFL has had over America.
Kid Rock is absolutely dominating the stage right now — the crowd is going wild. An incredible performance showcasing his raw, all-American talent.pic.twitter.com/JXO0nlbnok

This was a family show that represented American traditions, not a foreign pride-style parade, where parents had to cover their kids’ eyes.
The NFL’s stranglehold on culture is dead
30 MILLION+ eyeballs watched @TPUSA’s All-American halftime show
TPUSA just proved it’s possible to draw America’s attention away from the Super Bowl

While homosexuals were grating on the Super Bowl stage, Kid Rock was reminding Americans to read their Bible and get closer to Jesus.
Kid Rock honors Jesus Christ at his Super Bowl halftime performance.
Bad Bunny is a Satanist and wears dresses.
The difference couldn’t be more stark.

Within hours of airing, the alternative show had drawn more than 10 million viewers online. As of this writing, total views across platforms have climbed past 25 million and continue to rise. For something built outside the NFL’s billion-dollar infrastructure, that’s remarkably disruptive.
25 Million from YouTube/Rumble main channel streams

For the first time in Super Bowl history, the league’s halftime monopoly was challenged, and it crumbled.
The All-American Halftime Show pulled in OVER 25 MILLION views on just YouTube and Rumble alone, with a lot of large groups watching together, so the number of viewers is likely far higher. And the numbers are still climbing (broadcast partners, fast channel partners, and final counts incoming). Based on tonight’s success, we have committed to running it back again next year. The All-American Halftime Show will be back in 2027. God bless America.

And that challenge didn’t come from Hollywood. It came from a grassroots political organization built around faith, patriotism, and cultural reclamation.
Charlie would be so proud.
Folks, @charliekirk11 was SO big on the idea (need) for the right to take back the culture.@KidRock, and all the artists that performed, did that idea justice tonight.
If you missed the @TPUSA halftime show, watch it, folks.
Magic.
Congrats TP Fam on monstrous viewership!

And speaking of Charlie, Kid Rock ended the performance with a close-up of Charlie.
Beautiful. Kid Rock ends his All-American halftime performance with a close-up of Charlie Kirk, honoring his life.

And even more good news, Bad Bunny’s Spanish performance actually inspired people to search for information on the ICE tip line.
