One of the great lies of modern globalism is the idea that cultural differences are shallow, cosmetic, and easily blended if everyone just tries hard enough. They aren’t. Our differences run really deep, and when you ignore them, systems break, hate gets hotter, and division widens.

We’ve already learned this the hard way, from “diversity is our strength” to the Bush nation-building nightmare, mixing cultures is a recipe for disaster. When Western leaders tried to import Western values through nation-building in the Middle East, it caused massive backlash, resentment, and even more conflict. Why? Because Western values don’t work in the Middle East. They have no business being there.

The same mistake is now being repeated at home, under the lie that our cultural and religious differences don’t really matter. Globalists tell us that people are psychologically interchangeable, and that blending everyone together is just fine. It’s not. It’s made everything louder, angrier, and more unstable.

Look no further than Minneapolis, which is basically Mogadishu Jr. at this point. Americans have had their fill of this ungrateful “pirate” culture, and many want to see every last one of them deported because of it. Can you blame them?

Look:

So why is this cultural breakdown showing up across the globe? We know people are different, but what’s at the core of it? A recent X post actually breaks down the data and shows exactly why this is happening.

Basically, in a nutshell, the West is just better than all the rest.

Using large-scale global data, this research shows that Western culture isn’t just mildly different than the rest of the world. It is structurally unique, with a distinct combination of values that work together as a collective system, totally different from other countries, and incompatible, to boot.

The research comes from the World Values Survey, which asked people across dozens of countries the same set of questions about family, authority, trust, individual freedom, cooperation, morality, and social norms. The point was to see how patterns of values group together when viewed as a system.

This X post shows that Western countries cluster together in a very distinct psychological space of their own.

According to the study, Western cultures tend to emphasize individual autonomy, cooperation beyond family ties, tolerance for variation, and lower deference to authority, all at the same time. Other cultures emphasize different combinations, often prioritizing hierarchy, kin loyalty, collective obligation, or social order instead.

William Meijer:

The Multivariate Rarity of Western Psychology

Using data from the World Values Survey (2005–2014) across 80 countries (≈85% of the world’s population), Muthukrishna et al. (2020) show that cultural and psychological differences between societies are best understood as patterns across multiple variables, rather than as large gaps on any single dimension. When hundreds of traits are considered jointly, Western populations emerge as statistically unusual in multivariate psychological space, despite substantial overlap on individual traits.

Broadly speaking, the study finds that Western populations exhibit higher individualism, are more willing to cooperate and extend moral concern beyond kin, place greater emphasis on personal freedom and self-expression, display greater tolerance for individual variation, and place less emphasis on obedience to authority.

Importantly, the study systematically understates true differences: it captures only a limited subset of psychological constructs—excluding, among others, cognitive ability (IQ)—and represents each included dimension with a small number of survey questions that capture only part of the underlying psychological variance; treats all questions as equally important; collapses response categories in ways that discard information about degree and intensity; and relies on survey items that may not fully represent the same constructs or have the same meaning across cultures.

Consequently, the study paints a low-resolution portrait of cross-cultural psychological differences, rather than revealing their full magnitude and true direction.

This study is nothing short of a predictor of culture clash. It’s a blueprint that explains why we’re all at each other’s throats.

Countries are meant to protect their own social fabric and culture, not sacrifice it to some abstract promise of “collective good” that will never show up.

The idea that globalism could replace nationalism was always a fantasy, and the left knew it wouldn’t hold. But once all that chaos was imported, reversing course became nearly impossible, and that was the plan all along.
