However, it looks like the Somali scandal is about to take down a lot more Dems. At least that’s what former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy thinks will happen.

McCarthy weighed in on the scandal with a stark prediction: the resignation of Governor Tim Walz may be just the first in a string of departures. McCarthy says that once voters and investigators see how deep this corruption runs, they won’t stop at Walz. The state attorney general, other members of the Democrat admin, and anyone who helped cover this up or protect it are going to be next on the chopping block.

Bottom line: Minnesota’s Dem leadership will likely not survive this.
