For five long, drawn-out years Dems, the FBI, and the fake news media turned J6 into the longest-running political theater in American history. Cable news sold the idea that grandma taking selfies in the Rotunda was the equivalent of 9/11. Meanwhile, that same crowd shrugged when cities burned during the Saint George Floyd riots. Nancy Pelosi got on her knees for Floyd but held zero prayers for the twenty Americans killed in those riots or the billions in damage that wrecked real neighborhoods. The message was loud and clear: outrage only counts when it scares the elites.

So now comes the new Republican-led Jan. 6 committee, and the question hanging over the Swamp is simple: Performative or substantive?
The panel says it’ll focus on the pipe bombs and the FBI’s previous (absurd) investigation into that circus. Fantastic. Americans want answers. And the good news is that, unlike the Democrats who used J6 to persecute political enemies, committee head Rep. Barry Loudermilk has shown a real appetite for answers. That gives Americans a flicker of hope when it comes to substance.
Loudermilk issued a statement on the days surrounding the fifth anniversary of January 6, pushing back on the Left’s persecution machine and calling for a fact-first approach.
🚨BREAKING🚨: Chairman Loudermilk issues statement ahead of five-year anniversary of January 6.
“Over the course of the three years I have spent investigating the events surrounding January 6, a few things have become clear: The intelligence suggested January 6 was going to be a lot worse than it was, yet the Capitol was still breached; former USCP Chief of Police Steven Sund was denied the National Guard numerous times leading up to and on January 6; the Capitol Complex is no more secure today than it was on January 6; and Democrat’s January 6 Select Committee was never about uncovering the truth or fixing the security failures—it was a partisan exercise designed to advance a narrative to target President Trump and his political allies. This partisan exercise will be reenacted tomorrow as Rep. Bennie Thompson carefully reads a prepared script like he once did as Chair of the Select Committee.
“Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unprecedented rejection of Kevin McCarthy’s selections for the Select Committee set a partisan tone, resulting in a panel that lacked a true ranking minority member and operated without essential checks and balances. This allowed Rep. Thompson, former Rep. Liz Cheney, and the rest of their pardoned Select Committee Member colleagues to ignore exculpatory evidence, suppress dissenting witnesses, and operate without due process or cross-examination. Even former Biden-era Special Prosecutor Jack Smith rejected some of the Select Committee’s assertions characterizing Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony as ‘secondhand hearsay’ and that her testimony ‘may or may not be admissible’ in court. Hutchinson was Thompson and Cheney’s star witness who formed the basis of the Select Committee’s false, but most sensational claims against President Trump.
“True accountability requires focusing on facts, not selective storytelling for partisan gain. My Select Subcommittee remains committed to transparency and accountability and ensuring the security failures that occurred on January 6 and the partisan investigation that followed never happens again.”

One thing’s for sure… this can’t be another Benghazi hearing rerun. The American people do not want to watch another Trey Gowdy dog and pony show that’s all about performance and cable news soundbites while offering zero accountability.
Never forget the idiot Trey Gowdy, who spent $ 7 million of taxpayers’ money on the Benghazi Investigation of Hillary ended with ZERO results.
Matt Gaetz called out Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy on a regular basis for their collusion with the left to sabotage President Trump.

People want to know who truly planted those bombs, why the FBI sat on its hands, and what Nancy Pelosi knew before that day. The old stunts absolutely won’t fly with a public that is now wide awake, fed up, and ready to fight.
The committee hearing is set for next week.

Right now all the talk in Washington is about the cringe candlelight vigil Dems held.

While the Dems are busy unleashing a three-ring circus, the rest of the country is asking about pipe bombs and FBI failures. The Republicans are promising to dig into places where the Left refused to go.
House Select Subcommittee on January 6 Chairman Barry Loudermilk said Tuesday that his panel’s first hearing of the new year will take place sometime next week.
The comment comes on the fifth anniversary of the January 6 riot, which saw supporters of President Donald Trump march to Capitol Hill to protest the certification of the 2020 election without investigating the claims of the alternate electors. Trump pardoned approximately 1,500 protesters on his first day in office.
Loudermilk told Politico that he expects the hearing will focus on the pipe bombs left at the Democratic and Republican National Committee headquarters on January 5, 2021, and why it took so long for the FBI to find the person responsible.
“It’s gonna be sometime next week,” Loudermilk said. “We’re gonna be really looking at the pipe bomb and the FBI’s investigation – previous investigation. Why did it take five years?”
Further details on the hearing were not immediately clear, including the exact date of the hearing and its list of witnesses.
Americans are hopeful that this new committee will get to the bottom of the J6 and pipe bomb lies and expose the people who allowed that story to go on for eons. But it’s understandable that Americans are leery since Republicans don’t have a great track record when it comes to finding the truth and holding powerful people accountable. But for now it’s a wait-and-see type thing. As we said earlier, there’s reason to believe Barry Loudermilk has a genuine hunger for truth and justice.

But, if that substance doesn’t show up, we’ll be ready to call the Republicans out. Right now the benefit of the doubt is on Loudermilk’s side, but that trust is not a blank check.
