Pam Grier went on The View and told a whopper of a story that simply doesn’t hold up.

With a straight face, the actress claimed that when she was a child, her mother had to “shield her eyes” so she wouldn’t see black people hanging from trees in Columbus, Ohio. She described it as something so common that parents had to physically pull their kids away from the sight.

What on earth?

Here’s the problem with Pam’s claim. Ms. Grier was born in 1949. And there are zero documented lynchings in Columbus, Ohio anywhere near that period. In fact, the last reported lynching tied to that area dates back to the 1890s. That would mean, if Pam Grier’s story is true, she’d have to be roughly 120 years old right now.

That alone should have set off alarm bells for the cat ladies of The View. It didn’t.

Not a single woman on the panel questioned it. There were no follow-up questions, no clarifications, no pause or gentle cleanup. The lie was just allowed to stand, unchallenged, as if the actual truth just didn’t matter.

Now, could this have been some “dementia-style”confused memory from a 76-year-old actress? Sure. We’ve seen plenty of that lately, thanks to Joe Biden. But honestly, this isn’t about one aging guest misspeaking. This is a definate pattern on the left. They love this play: Say something totally wrong but emotionally charged. Let it sit there and marinate. Never correct it at the moment. Wait. Maybe quietly clean it up later, maybe not. Either way, the lie gets all the oxygen it needs; it spreads and hardens into “truth” for the brain-dead audience.

And let’s be honest… if lynchings were actually happening in Columbus, Ohio in the 1950s or 60s, that’d be the only thing the media and left-wing activists ever talked about. It would be documented, memorialized, and endlessly cited. And the reason that isn’t happening, is because Ms. Grier lied.

And for the ladies on The View, the truth wasn’t important enough to interrupt the left-wing narrative.

And that’s the real issue here, right? Not just one wildly fake, absurd story, but a fake news, propaganda media that treats “emotional storytelling” as more important than reality, especially when it stokes fear, resentment, and division.

Pam Grier recalls her mom trying to protect her from seeing lynched bodies hanging to trees in Columbus, Ohio. She noted that white families would also be lynched for supporting black families:

“My mom would go, ‘don’t look, don’t look, don’t look,’ and she would pull us away because there’s someone hanging from a tree. And they have a memorial for it now where you can see where people were and left. And it triggers me today to see that a voice can be silenced and if a white family supported a black, they’re going to get burned down or killed or lynched as well.”

Well, sadly, this is just how the left operates now. If a story scares people, angers them, or props up the narrative they’re selling, it doesn’t really matter whether it’s true.

They’ve been doing this exact same thing to President Trump for over a decade now. Float a claim, let it sit, let it spread, and never bother cleaning it up in real time. The damage is already done, the narrative is already sold, and the brain-dead zombie audience will never question it.
