Five years ago, Doug Mackey woke up to the sound of his door being pounded on by Biden’s weaponized federal agents.

It wasn’t because he’d hurt anyone, or interfered with an election, intimidated voters, or committed some shadowy crime. It was because he posted a hilarious, anti-Hillary satirical meme on Twitter. A joke that didn’t stop one single American from voting, didn’t suppress turnout, and didn’t cause any harm at all.

But that didn’t matter. The regime needed a test case, so they went after a young husband and father and tried to ruin his life.

On the five-year anniversary of his arrest, Doug Mackey is no longer just a horror story from the Biden regime years. He’s living proof of how far the Department of Justice was willing to stretch and twist the law, weaponize obscure statutes, and crush an ordinary American in order to send a message to Trump and his supporters.

Doug recently appeared on the Human Events podcast with Jack Posobiec to talk about what those dark years were really like and just how awful things got once Biden’s DOJ was fully in place. Doug also explained why his case was one of the earliest warning signs of what was coming for President Trump and the MAGA movement.

His arrest came before Biden even had an attorney general confirmed and before a US attorney was in place. Deep State players inside the DOJ toed the line and weaponized the justice system against Doug.

But things got worse. Because once Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, and the rest of Biden’s legal apparatus were installed, Doug says things escalated.

Watch:

Doug’s trial unfolded in Brooklyn, in one of the most hostile venues for a Trump supporter, and it happened just as President Trump was being indicted.  The message was clear: dissent would be punished, and evidence was optional.

But just because five years have passed and Trump is back in office doesn’t mean justice has been fully restored. Doug also appeared on War Room, where he talked about the disturbing new problems we’re now facing.

Watch:

That theme runs straight through the exclusive statement Doug gave to Revolver earlier this week.

Doug told us that his case was never about protecting elections or upholding justice. It was about testing how far the government could go and who it could destroy along the way.

And don’t forget, the same Ku Klux Klan Act charge used against him is now being rejected outright when applied to former CNN clown Don Lemon, even though he was targeting and harassing people.

Revolver:

Doug says his case was never about justice or protecting elections. It was about seeing how far the government could stretch the law and who it could crush in the process.

“They came after President Trump and I with the Klan Act — the same Klan Act charge that a judge refuses to sign in the case of Don Lemon,” Mackey continued.

He says the contrast couldn’t be more revealing.

“Unlike Don Lemon, I didn’t invade a church or terrorize anyone, and an appellate court threw out my conviction, citing lack of evidence.”

But none of that mattered. The lawfare machine was already in motion.

“That lack of evidence didn’t stop a federal judge from signing an arrest warrant or an urban liberal jury from convicting me,” he explained.

What troubles Mackey most is what followed, and what continues to this day:

“Now, those same federal judges and liberal urban juries are refusing to return indictments and convictions of domestic terrorists and violent criminal illegal aliens.”

He says this isn’t a coincidence:

“The weaponization of justice is systemic, and it only goes one direction. We’ve got our work cut out for us to make the justice system great again.”

Five Years Ago, Biden’s FBI Banged on Doug’s Door and Arrested Him for a Meme: Exclusive Reaction…

As you likely know, Doug’s conviction was unanimously thrown out on appeal. The court cited a complete lack of evidence. But by then, the damage had been done. Years of his life were consumed by a prosecution that never should have existed. He missed the birth of his son because of this sham case.

As Doug mentioned earlier, what troubles him most is what he’s watching now. How the same judges and juries that rushed to convict Trump supporters are now unwilling to indict or convict violent offenders, domestic extremists, and criminal illegal aliens.

But Doug says the system is functioning exactly how it was reshaped to work.

In other words, it’s still weaponized.

And that’s why Doug is still fighting. Five years later, and Mackey’s still speaking out, not because he enjoys reliving this nightmare, but because he understands how important his case was and what it represented. It wasn’t just about him. It was about all of us. And if we stop fighting, it will happen again.
