Watching Congressional Dems gather for a candlelight vigil on the fifth anniversary of the J6 Fedsurrection is the kind of cringey spectacle that makes sane Americans want to take a shower. The entire event looked like something out of a cheesy Hallmark movie. All you saw were soft, sad faces and trembling candles, as if the Capitol scuffle was the worst tragedy since 9/11.

It was corny and hokey, and Dems simply can’t read a room.

Over the years the J6 narrative has completely flipped, and most of the country now understands that fateful day smelled like a fed setup from the get-go. The elites in Congress keep pretending the republic nearly fell, thanks to unarmed Americans wearing fanny packs and carrying water bottles.

Meanwhile, the rest of us were living in the real world, dealing with a border invasion, fentanyl pouring in, and rent prices that feel like highway robbery.

Americans were never truly sold on the official outrage script, mainly because the same crowd clutching candles ignored cities burning during the George Floyd riots. Democrats like Nancy Pelosi literally dropped to their knees and prayed over Floyd, treating those riots like a summer of love even after roughly twenty people were killed and billions in damage piled up.

But hey, a few millionaire congressmen getting nervous for an hour is supposed to move the nation to tears. The contrast is almost too stupid to believe… swamp creatures in plush offices, twiddling their thumbs for an hour.

And then came the big emotional moment the Dems wanted clipped for social media, proof that they still feel something about J6… and boy, did they get trashed for it.

The candlelight vigil didn’t honor history. It honored some pathetic dying narrative that only survives inside the Dem and media bubble. Regular Americans know what an actual insurrection looks like, and J6 wasn’t it, no matter how many candles the Swamp lights. If Congress wants to hold a vigil, the only name worth mourning is Ashli Babbitt, the non-violent, unarmed woman murdered in cold blood that day. She is the only person who actually paid the ultimate price while the elites went back to lunch.

But hey, if Dems really wanna hold a vigil, maybe they should light a candle for their dying party, because according to CNN their political brand is sinking faster than a cinder block in the swampy Potomac. The network that spent years selling J6 as the end of the world is now admitting what the public already knows: the Dem Party is lower than the Dead Sea.

What a way to kick off 2026, right? The J6 vigil stunt is unfolding at the exact moment the polls show the Dem Party sinking into a political black void. While their approval craters and even “friendly” networks describe the brand as lower than sea level, the Swamp choir keeps reaching for candles and Instagram posts instead of focusing on voters. Dems refuse to regroup and get back into the good graces of the American people. Instead, they’re doubling down on corny theater and pushing narratives most Americans rejected eons ago.

Not to mention, they’re also out there supporting a violent, dangerous narco-terrorist.

Dems only seem to care about the law and doing things the right way when it comes to protecting evil dictators and criminals. But when illegals are allowed to bum-rush the border, they’re perfectly okay looking the other way.

The bottom line is this: Dems are in deep doo-doo, and if they don’t blow out the candles and start acting like adults, they’ll be about as popular as chicken at a vegan potluck.
