Canada is spiraling into something really dark, and the rest of the world is watching in absolute shock. What started as supposedly “compassionate care” has morphed into a system handing out death approvals like it’s a customer service line. People with treatable conditions are being offered euthanasia because the socialist system can’t be bothered to help them.

They’re even marketing this euthanasia program called MAID to kids.

Look:

It’s sick and dystopian.

Keep in mind though, Canada will bend over backwards to get a trans patient a specialty surgery, even if it means keeping both sets of parts…

Look:

But a young woman with a real medical crisis is being told her best option is to quietly die.

Thank God, Glenn Beck stepped in, because without him this woman might already be moving down the MAID death conveyor belt.

This woman, who has suffered for nearly a decade, begging for help, was told the wait for surgery was too long and the pain was too great, so she qualified for state-sanctioned death instead. That’s where Canada is right now. God help them.

National Post:

A Canadian woman who got approved for a medically assisted death because of a years-long wait to receive surgery for her chronically painful condition may finally get treated. American conservative commentator Glenn Beck has offered to pay for her to have surgery in the United States. “If there is any surgeon in America who can do this, I’ll pay for this patient to come down here for treatment. THIS is the reality of “compassionate” progressive healthcare,” Beck said in a post on X after Jolene Van Alstine’s story spread across social media.

“Canada must END this insanity and Americans can NEVER let it spread here.” The Regina woman has endured eight years of abdominal pain, extreme bone pain and fractures caused by normocalcemic primary hyperparathyroidism. The rare form of parathyroid disease also causes daily nausea and vomiting, overheating, and anxiety and depression caused by social isolation.

This is the system working exactly how it was built… a medical crapshoot that sends the healthy-but-inconvenient straight into a syringe because it’s cheaper and easier that way. And the people running this ghoulish thing talk about “compassion” as if they’re heroes.

And here’s what makes all of this even more twisted. Her condition isn’t some mysterious or hopeless situation. It’s treatable. It requires a surgery Canada doesn’t want to make room for.

The NP story goes on:

The condition is treatable with surgery to remove Van Alstine’s remaining parathyroid gland, but Saskatchewan doesn’t have a surgeon who can complete the complex surgery. In order for Van Alstine to get surgery in another province, she needs to get a referral from an endocrinologist, but none of them are taking new patients. “I’m urging Health Minister Jeremy Cockrill to meet with Jolene, to hear her story and commit today to get her the surgery she needs. Nobody should be forced to choose between unbearable suffering and death.

No family should be put in this position,” said Jared Clarke, the Saskatchewan NDP’s shadow minister for rural and remote health, in a statement after Van Alstine visited the legislature.

What happened to doctors taking an oath to save lives?

Thankfully, the Americans stepped up. Beck made the offer to save her life and also got the wheels turning. He even got President Trump’s team involved, trying to help this woman survive a broken, creepy system that was ready to give her a death date.

The NP post wraps up:

On Tuesday, Beck, who is CEO of Blaze Media, offered to pay for Van Alstine’s treatment in the United States and said he had spoken to the couple. On Wednesday, Beck said he had discussed the matter with the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump. Article content “Jolene does not have a passport to gain legal entry into the U.S., but my team has been in touch with President Trump’s State Department,” he posted on X.

“All I can say for now is they are aware of the urgent life-saving need and we had a very positive call.”
