South Africa has its own version of Ghislaine Maxwell. Except this one isn’t recruiting for a billionaire sex trafficker. She’s recruiting for a political dynasty. Duduzile Zuma‑Sambudla is the daughter of Jacob Zuma, who is one of the most corrupt leaders South Africa has ever had.

He and his henchmen robbed the country blind.

Look:

Back in 2023, South Africa was on the brink of collapse and civil war.

Look:

According to reports and court documents, Duduzile used young South African men like disposable chess pieces, promising them this glamorous “bodyguard training” while delivering them straight into the hands of Russian mercenaries on the front lines of a foreign war.

Look:

Her goal was likely to polish her political image, climb the ladder, and play a big-shot power broker in her country, which is already collapsing under the weight of DEI. This is what happens when a nation rebuilds itself on Critical Race Theory. Everything good and valuable dies, corruption takes over, and the political elites become so shielded and so unaccountable that human trafficking becomes just another Tuesday afternoon for them.

Keep in mind, South Africa was once thriving. Today, it’s a sad, failed red flag for what happens when ideology replaces capability. And this bizarre, horrific saga involving Zuma-Sambudla and her father’s corrupt political machine is just another brick in that crumbling DEI wall.

Here’s how the entire scam was set up: Young South African men were told they’d be training as bodyguards for her powerful political family. That’s how she roped them in, with status, close ties to real power, and the promise of a future inside one of the country’s most influential dynasties.

What they got was cold borscht on the frontlines of a hellish war in a foreign country.

Financial Times:

Almost as soon as he arrived in Russia, the South African recruit knew something was wrong.

He had been promised training to become a bodyguard for the party of South Africa’s former president Jacob Zuma, whom he idolised, but the man grew increasingly alarmed as his handlers spent days driving, refusing to say where they were going.

The recruit, who has not been named for his safety, was relieved when someone familiar turned up: Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, the daughter of the ex-president himself.

So, right out of the gate, she leveraged her family name to lure these poor men in. That’s the power structure in South Africa now… flashy DEI elites parading around like royalty while the country falls apart.

Next comes the gut punch. This was the moment these guys realized they weren’t going to be bodyguards. They were being handed off to mercenaries in an actual war zone on foreign soil.

The Financial Times piece goes on:

She assured them she would train too.

A day later, however, she was nowhere to be found. The horrified South Africans discovered they were in the hands of a mercenary outfit fighting on Russia’s frontline against Ukraine.

“She never joined us,” the recruit told the Financial Times, as he sheltered in a bunker in Donbas, near the frontline in Ukraine.

She ghosted the guys. But they got shipped to Donbas.

Next came the fallout, which included infighting, accusations, family members turning on each other, and a political system so broken that the accused trafficker is posing for cameras like she’s on the red carpet.

The Financial Times piece continues:

In a first case of its kind in South Africa, she is facing terrorism charges over social media posts that prosecutors allege fuelled riots in which 350 people were killed in 2021, after Zuma was briefly jailed for contempt of court. Zuma-Sambudla called for her father’s supporters to “shut down” KwaZulu-Natal. “Azishe,” she posted, the Zulu word for “let it burn”.

In August, a smiling Zuma-Sambudla — who denies the charges and argues they are politically motivated — attended a pretrial hearing wearing a shirt emblazoned with “MODERN DAY TERRORIST”.

Zuma-Sambudla

For her, this trial is nothing more than a performance. Just more Instagram content to keep the spotlight on herself. Zuma is a perfect example of why South Africa fell. It was engineered by the same ideology our ruling class is trying to force on Americans right now.

We covered the downfall of South Africa in real time. It’s a story we highlighted back in 2021, but it still matters today.

As we mentioned earlier, South Africa was rebuilt as a real-world experiment in Critical Race Theory… the first modern nation to run its government, economy, and institutions entirely on DEI ideology. The result was an epic failure. Rolling blackouts, collapsing infrastructure, soaring murder rates, political extremism, and a brain drain so severe that anyone with talent or resources bolted.

Revolver:

The meltdown in South Africa isn’t a natural disaster or a random fluke. It’s a choice. South Africa was the first modern nation to be refounded on the anti-white principles of Critical Race Theory, and now it is reaping the whirlwind of that choice.

South Africa did everything that is being done in America right now. As a hyperdiverse, multiethnic, multilingual society, South Africa has followed almost every prescription embraced by the globalist ruling class.

This is about more than riots. This wave of violence will eventually peter out. But there is no reason to be optimistic when that happens. There will be no sense of having survived a calamity and having a chance to rebuild. When this wave of burning, looting, and killing is over, there will be nothing to look forward to but the next wave.

The specter of doom hangs over South Africa. The optimism that peaked when the country hosted the 2010 World Cup is now gone. Despite being warned for years about failing water infrastructure, local governments ignored the problem, and now the country has routine, severe water crises. South Africa began experiencing rolling blackouts in 2007 and has battled them ever since. Even the government says the blackouts will likely continue for at least five more years. Hint: Bet your money that they last even longer.

Despite being the “economic superpower” of Sub-Saharan Africa, South Africa’s brain drain is significant and accelerating. Those who have options are abandoning the country. More than four percent of all deaths are murders, and the murder rate is somehow still rising; last year it rose by 8.4 percent. But it’s not just about day-to-day violence. It’s the expectation for what is to come.

South Africa’s dominant African National Congress party is corrupt and ineffective, but its most dangerous rival is one of the most radical political parties to enjoy representation on Earth. The Economic Freedom Fighters vow to seize white-owned land (without payment), nationalize the banking and mining sectors, and double welfare payments.

But EFF isn’t a radical outlier in South African politics. It’s the natural endgame for the country’s post-apartheid ideology. For decades, the South African economy has been shaped by a policy known as Broad-Based Black Economic Employment. Despite its name, there is nothing “based” about BBBEE. Instead, the policy uses the same tactics to achieve “equity” that activists in the United States are demanding.

BBBEE relies openly and explicitly on injecting racial preferences throughout the economy. Companies receive a BBBEE scorecard based on hiring black workers, elevating black management, and giving black South Africans a share of ownership. Companies with high BBBEE scores are given favorable tax treatment and preferences in government contracts. Corporate actors are strongly incentivized to give contracts to high BBBEE scorers as well.

South Africa—the First Country Built on ‘Critical Race Theory’—Officially Implodes

Everything Revolver warned about back in 2021 is playing out in real time. South Africa didn’t collapse because of bad luck. It collapsed because the country handed its entire operating system over to CRT politics.

Now you have an heiress acting like a wannabe celebrity while young men are misled into a foreign war they never signed up for. She built her identity on DEI talking points and family connections, then treated her own people like props in an Instagram story.

South Africa might claw its way back someday, but only if the country pushes out the takers and brings back the people who actually know how to build. It’s already on life support, so that kind of turnaround is going to be one helluva heavy lift.
