Many Americans feel abandoned by the system that’s supposed to protect them… Obamacare has helped to destroy the insurance industry in ways we could never imagine. Sadly, Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, knows that all too well. Scott is in the fight of his life right now. His prostate cancer has metastasized, and the window to receive a newly approved treatment is very small. He did everything right. His insurance approved it. The drug was ready. But when it came time to actually schedule the IV he needed, the whole thing collapsed into a bureaucratic hellhole. And with cancer, days matter a lot, and Scott was running out of time.
Scott posted about his situation on X. Trump saw it and stepped in to help.
On Monday, I will ask President Trump, via X, to help save my life. He offered to help me if I needed it.
I need it.
As many of you know, I have metastasized prostate cancer.
My healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, has approved my application to receive a newly FDA-approved drug called Pluvicto. But they have dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I can’t seem to fix that.
I am declining fast. I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer.
It is not a cure, but it does give good results to many people.

And thank God, it worked. Scott is now getting the life-saving treatment he desperately needed. A man battling stage four cancer shouldn’t have to beg an insurance company to schedule a simple IV. Yet here we are in America. But the second President Trump and his team saw what was happening, they made the calls and broke through the wall of red tape.

Of course, NPR couldn’t report this straight. They couldn’t simply say a man with cancer got help. No, they had to cram in the “racist” label like it’s a legal requirement, all because Adams spoke some politically correct truths. It’s the same tired playbook our lazy media always uses.
Like many, many Americans, Scott Adams had health insurance problems.
But Adams — made famous first by his long-running Dilbert cartoon, and later for a racist rant on YouTube — counts some powerful people in his social media circle: President Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr. and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
So Adams posted his complaint on X, saying Kaiser of Northern California, his health insurer and care provider, had “dropped the ball” in scheduling a procedure needed to treat his metastatic prostate cancer. Adams wrote he was going to ask Trump to help save his life, and he added: “I am declining fast. I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday.”
Donald Trump Jr. responded to the post on X first, saying: “Going to make sure that my dad sees this.”
Just after 11 am on Sunday morning, Kennedy responded, saying, “Scott. How do I reach you? The President wants to help.”
Later that day, President Trump posted a screen shot of Adams’ original post and responded “On it!” on his favored social media platform, Truth Social.
And on Monday, Adams posted that he had an appointment to receive the infusion he needed of the cancer drug, Pluvicto, on Tuesday.
“For context, I waited months for the drug, like everyone else,” Adams wrote. “But I think my files got misplaced or something and that glitch just got corrected. Not sure.”
But none of NPR’s spin changes the reality. Scott needed help. Trump delivered. And now Scott is in that chair receiving Pluvicto, fighting for more time on this planet.

Scott’s story isn’t just about cancer or an insurance mess. It’s a sad example of how broken our healthcare maze has become.
Scott shouldn’t have had to reach out to the President, but thank God he did. And thank God Trump answered.
Our prayers are with Scott as he enters this next phase of the fight for his life.
