Who can forget one of the creepiest and most disturbing true crime cases of the 2010s? It was the “Slender Man” stabbing, and it was a dark and vicious crime pulled off by 12-year-old girls, who lured their little friend into the woods and stabbed her nineteen times to “appease Slender Man.” Americans watched that case in total horror.
Thankfully, the classmate survived.

Morgan Geyser was the “ringleader” who carried out the stabbing. She was sentenced to forty years in a secure mental facility. Forty years… that’s a long time, and given the gravity and horror of the crime, it was well-deserved. Everyone breathed a little easier knowing someone that unstable was locked away.
Until now…

Fast-forward to today, and, in classic soft-on-crime fashion, everything has flipped upside down.
Morgan Geyser, who, in keeping with the trans mental illness brand, is now identifying as a “male” named Ethan, was released early; she only served ten years and was placed in a group home.
Morgan Geyser, the infamous “Slender Man” stabber who was sentenced to 40 years in a mental hospital, is set to be released by a judge after only serving 10 years. Morgan is reportedly now identifying as a “transgender male” named Ethan, is using a chest binder, and told staff to use male pronouns. This trans criminal is about to be on the streets again.

The moment Morgan got a taste of freedom, she chopped off her ankle monitor and bolted.
And once again, Americans were left terrified, as another violent, mentally unstable trans person roamed the streets. The growing connection between untreated mental illness and the trans-identity craze, and the left’s obsession with releasing dangerous offenders into unsuspecting communities under the guise of “compassion,” is a recipe for complete disaster.

Thankfully, they found Morgan. She jumped state lines and was located in Illinois at a truck stop.
On a chilly Saturday night, Morgan Geyser left the group home where she was living in Madison, Wisconsin, and met up with an acquaintance on a quiet residential street nearby.
Before she vanished, police say the 23-year-old cut off the monitoring bracelet law enforcement used to track her whereabouts, years after she pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the “Slender Man” stabbing of her 12-year-old classmate.
Payton Leutner was stabbed at Waukesha park in 2014 by Geyser and her friend Anissa Weier, who were also 12 at the time. The girls told investigators the attack was meant to impress the fictitious boogeyman.
Late Sunday, Madison police said it received confirmation that Geyser was taken into custody in Illinois, more than a hundred miles away.
The judges responsible for the case are Judge Michael Bohren, who retired, and judge Scott Wagner, who took over the case in May.
So, why was Morgan released when it’s obvious she wasn’t ready? Ironically, a lot of so-called “professionals” convinced themselves she had conquered her mental illness. But the fact that she was now “trans” should have been a giant, flashing red flag that nothing was under control and the sickness was still raging.
“When you are committed, you are not assumed to serve the entire time in custody. The goal when you are in a mental health case is for release. The goal is to try to rehabilitate, treat the underlying mental health issue, and get the person back to a point where they are safe to return to the community,” said Leroy.
The moment Morgan identified as trans, the whole “she’s stable now” narrative collapsed. She’s not well. She’s not rehabilitated. She’s not safe. She’s a deeply disturbed young woman who slipped right through the cracks because our justice system is obsessed with “compassion” for violent offenders and blind to the danger they pose to everyone else.
Time and time again, we’re seeing unstable, violent, emotionally chaotic young people gravitate toward this identity movement as some kind of coping mechanism. But it doesn’t heal anything. If anything, it amplifies the confusion, aggression, and detachment from reality. Morgan’s story fits that pattern perfectly.

The bigger issue here is the system. Morgan didn’t pay the price for what she did. She simply learned how to say the right things to the “experts” and walked out the front door… and then cut off her ankle monitor and ran.
