There’s a lot of dark stuff brewing in America, almost too much to keep up with. But one of the strangest and most disturbing shifts we’re seeing is the way male crimes are being reclassified as female crimes the moment a man decides to cosplay as a woman. Think about it: a man commits a violent act, then changes his “gender identity,” and suddenly the crime is logged in the system as something a woman did. Women are inheriting male violence. Women inherit their statistics and their criminal history.

However, this story we’re sharing today isn’t just about the disturbing trend of men committing violent crimes and then pawning them off on women. There’s another layer here, one that might be even more troubling.
You may recall the suicide of Dagny Benedict. She was a young, confused, vulnerable girl whose full story was pushed aside so a political narrative could take center stage. Instead of telling the truth and sharing her full story, the left and their media flunkies erase reality and replace it with a narrative they can weaponize.
Dagny was a teenage girl who went through something no child should ever face… sexual abuse by her father. That trauma shaped everything that followed.
When she died, the left-wing political machine didn’t tell her whole story. They didn’t mention the abuse. Instead, they rebranded her as a “nonbinary student,” pushed a narrative about “anti-trans bullying,” and used her death as a talking point to push their gender ideology. The part about her father that mattered most never made it into the headlines… until now.
That man who’s now pretending to be a woman named “Chloe Elizabeth”… and whom the State of California officially records as a female sex offender, is Dagny’s father.

Dangy’s story is way more complex than just a gender-confused girl who was bullied to death.
In 2024, a girl named Dagny Benedict took her own life. In 2019, she had been sexually abused by her father, James. He was convicted, served time, and was released. He was later rearrested for failure to register, as required by law.
When she died, @TheDemocrats, the establishment left, and the mainstream media referred to Dagny as a “nonbinary” student named Nex and blamed “anti-trans” bullying for her suicide.
None of them bothered to mention that she had been sexually abused by her father.
Now we know, thanks to @DistMag, that James now calls himself a woman named “Chloe Elizabeth.” He’s listed on the California sex offense registry as female.
These are #NotOurCrimes.

James Everette Hughes, convicted of sexually abusing his daughter Dagny ‘Nex’ Benedict, has ‘transitioned’ in lockup. Inmate records at the Sebastian County, Arkansas jail, where Hughes was being held for trial until recently, show he started changing his surname as well as his appearance in the last year.
A coroner determined that a troubled Benedict took her own life using over-the-counter medication in February 2024. False rumors that her death was connected to a fight in the school bathroom led to weeks of hysterical national media coverage as transgender ‘community’ activists falsely alleged a transphobic hate crime by middle schoolers. Dagny’s rapist father has received comparetively little attention from the ‘community’ that tried to make a ‘nonbinary’ martyr out of her.
Hughes, now 40, was convicted in 2019 of repeatedly raping Dagny in 2017. He received a five-year stint in prison, with a ten year suspended sentence, as well as lifetime sex offender registration. He was arrested in January 2024 for failing to register as ordered. Dagny took her life thirteen days later. It is unclear whether she knew about her father’s arrest, but trauma clearly played a role in her unstable identity issues.

There’s another hard truth here that polite society refuses to say out loud: severe mental illness is deeply intertwined with the modern trans movement. The movement is overwhelmingly populated by people battling trauma, instability, personality disorders, dissociation, self-harm histories, sexual abuse, extreme violence, murder, and other untreated psychiatric struggles.

The people who tried to make a martyr out of Dagny Benedict will not be upset by this development. They will not apologize or do better. They will instead defend the newly-minted ‘gender identity’ of the man who anally raped Dagny when she was nine years old. If you ask me, that ‘community’ deserves to have him come home upon release, so they can be made to embrace him, acknowledge him as one of theirs, and give him the welcome that they wanted ‘Nex’ to have.
Instead of getting help, many of these mentally ill people are purposely sucked into this twisted left-wing ideological pipeline that uses their pain as political fuel. Vulnerable people become foot soldiers for the left. Their trauma becomes a political talking point, and their confusion becomes the left’s leverage.
And in Dagny’s case, it didn’t even matter that she was dead. The left still used and abused her.

This is yet another tragic story rooted in mental illness, trauma, and death. And sadly, that pattern has become all too familiar within the trans and gender movement. We need to start talking about it honestly, without fear or politics, because ignoring it is only hurting vulnerable people and innocent Americans caught in the crossfire even more.
