Every once in a while, a story comes along that perfectly sums up what’s gone wrong in this country… and this is one of them. Edward Coristine, better known to his supporters as “Big Balls,” is a former DOGE staffer who’s been exposing government waste. Sadly, Big Balls was brutally attacked in Washington, DC, when he tried to stop a carjacking and protect his female friend.

He ended up bloodied and broken, while the two teens who beat him walked away with… are you ready for this… probation.
That’s right, no jail time. Thanks to a Biden-nominated judge who apparently believes her job isn’t to deliver justice but to “rehabilitate” the pint-size thugs that stand before her.

Many on the right see this as exactly what’s wrong with modern-day justice in blue cities… a system more concerned with feelings, politics, and race than justice and accountability. And many watching all of this unfold would argue that the left seems to always side with criminals over American citizens.
Big Balls appeared on Fox News to share his story after the attack. He got into the dirty details of what happened that night and how he was beaten senseless by two teens in the middle of DC. Jesse Watters praised him for opening up a national conversation about crime and accountability in the nation’s capital and for showing real courage in a city that’s going down the toilet fast.

Here’s a young man who literally risked his life to help someone, and instead of getting justice, he gets slapped in the face.
Here’s what happened…
The two teen thugs, who pleaded guilty to assaulting Coristine, were sentenced to probation. One is under house arrest, and the other is in a youth shelter. Biden-appointed Judge Kendra Briggs told the court her goal wasn’t to punish but to “rehabilitate” them, claiming that’s the purpose of juvenile court.
No, it’s not.
Two teenagers involved in the assault of former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer Edward ‘Big Balls’ Coristine, in August, have avoided jail time after they pleaded guilty to simple assault in a Washington, DC, court.
Coristine was assaulted around 3 am in the Logan Circle neighborhood by a group of teenagers who were attempting to carjack him, and a woman, who the police identified as his significant other. The attack had been slammed by President Donald Trump and former DOGE head Elon Musk, at the time.
Now, the boy and girl involved in the attack, both aged 15 and hailing from Hyattsville, Maryland, have been sentenced to probation a little over two months after they were arrested, as per WUSA9.
While the boy got a 12-month probation and was allowed to return home under strict house arrest, the girl was handed nine months and remanded to a local youth shelter. Both were reportedly ordered to not contact each other or spend any time in the District barring school, or obligations to job and family. The judge also stressed that the purpose of juvenile court is not to punish but rehabilitate, expressing hope that they would learn from the probationary period, the publication further reported.
That “rehabilitation” nonsense set off alarm bells across the country. This is the clearest example yet of how soft-on-crime ideology has infected the bench. Judges are supposed to uphold the law, not moonlight as social workers. Rehabilitation isn’t their job; accountability is. And when that line gets blurred, the results speak for themselves. You see rising crime, repeat offenders, and decent people like Coristine paying the price for all of it.
And we don’t throw around the term “activist judge” lightly, folks. This woman is literally a radical activist in every sense of the word.

This suggests Judge Briggs has a racial conflict of interest in that she appears to prioritize black causes over law and order. Her role in a blacks only organization in DC, where she is also a judge shows she has a racial bias against white people, which is why she didn’t uphold justice in the brutal assault of “Big Balls.”
One of the events she has organized with her Non-Profit is called “Boobs in the Park”.
A post from her website describing the event reads, “In Celebration of Black Breastfeeding Week, Boobs In The Park is a casual gathering of black and brown expecting moms, breastfeeding moms and breastfeeding enthusiasts.”

This is what happens when “equity” replaces justice. A brutal beating becomes some twisted “teachable moment” for pint-sized thugs, while victims are left holding the bag. DC, Chicago, San Francisco, go ahead, pick a left-wing city, and the plot is always the same: the bad guys walk, the system shrugs, and the rest of us get the message loud and clear: Hey America, you’re on your own.

At some point, this country has to decide what side it’s on, right? Are we on the side of law-abiding citizens who step up when it counts, or the criminals who tear everything down? The leniency flowing out of activist courts isn’t compassion or “rehabilitation”; it’s politics. And unless there’s real reform of these weaponized courts, America’s left-wing cities will keep learning the hard way what happens when criminals are allowed to run the show.
