Only in today’s America could building a ballroom spark a national meltdown.

President Trump is redoing part of the East Wing to create a stunning new ballroom, something timeless, elegant, and built to host history for generations to come. And the left are absolutely losing their marbles.

It’s called “Ballroom Derangement Syndrome.”

The outrage machine has gone into overdrive, hurling every insult imaginable, from “dictator” to “narcissist,” all because Trump dares to build something beautiful. Hilariously, these are the same Dems who will be twirling around the ballroom for years to come.

What Dems aren’t saying, though, is the most important part: not one penny of taxpayer money is funding it. The entire project is being covered by private donations.

CNN:

Apple, Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Comcast and Meta are just some of the major companies who have made donations to build President Donald Trump’s proposed 90,000-square-foot ballroom, according to the White House.

Trump has repeatedly said that work on the ballroom is privately funded by himself and donors and will cost nothing to taxpayers.

On Wednesday, Trump discussed his plans for the ballroom, saying it will cost “about $300 million.” The administration previously put the cost of the ballroom project at $200 million.

Additional donors include co-founders of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss; Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and his family; and the Adelson family. Trump awarded Miriam Adelson, a Republican megadonor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2018.

Meanwhile, these same Democrats, the ones frothing at the mouth and fainting over “preserving history,” didn’t say a word when Barack Obama tore up the White House lawn in 2009 to build a basketball court using $400 million in taxpayer money during a recession.

These “history-loving” Dems didn’t care about preserving anything when they were tearing down our nation’s statues.

At the end of the day, this isn’t about a ballroom. It’s about denial.

The left throw tantrums like this because, deep down, they still can’t accept reality. Despite Trump winning two presidential elections, they refuse to acknowledge that he’s the real president, that it’s his house, and that he can shape it however he damn well pleases.

They watched him walk back into the White House, and instead of facing that truth, they’re clinging to outrage like it’s a security blanket. Every project, every decision, and every improvement becomes another excuse to scream that he’s not “legitimate.” But he is. And that’s what eats them alive.
