In the beginning, Wikipedia was supposed to be the encyclopedia for the world… a neutral, unbiased resource for knowledge. That’s how it was supposed to go down and was the original vision of co-founder Larry Sanger. But as all of us know, that’s not how it turned out, is it?
Sanger recently appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show, where he explained how Wikipedia became the most powerful propaganda machine on the planet, hijacked by activists, weaponized by intelligence agencies, and used to push the regime’s narrative while silencing dissent.

Here’s the full conversation with Tucker. You’ll want to watch it all, because this is one of the most important interviews you’ll see on how the “information war” is really being fought.
Larry Sanger built Wikipedia as an unbiased repository of the world’s knowledge, and then stood helplessly by as activists and intel agencies turned it into the most comprehensive propaganda op in human history. There’s nothing more corrupt.

Now, let’s break down why this matters.
Sanger made it perfectly clear… Wikipedia was once guided by true neutrality. But over the years, policies were quietly changed, and the site was slowly but surely weaponized into a left-wing bullhorn. Sanger left the company when he realized “neutrality” had been flushed down the toilet. Now, what’s left is a platform that openly crushes one side of the political aisle while puffing up and protecting the other.

But the most jaw-dropping part came when Tucker looked at the “blacklist.”
Sanger showed him exactly which outlets are banned and which ones are approved, and Tucker literally couldn’t stop laughing.
Once you see it, you’ll understand why he was in stitches. It’s just so incredibly absurd.
Tucker Carlson bursts out laughing as Wikipedia’s Co-Founder Larry Sanger shows him the website’s BLACKLIST of banned sources.
“It’s so funny. This is amazing.”
Once you see which websites count as “reliable” and which are excluded, you’ll be laughing alongside Carlson.

Stop and think about how insane all of this is. Wikipedia says Fox News and the New York Post are “unreliable” but gives a stamp of approval to CNN, MSNBC, and Mother Jones of all publications. Good grief, even TV Guide was “green listed.” This is what many would call CIA-level censorship. At one time, Wikipedia set the tone for everything. Google, Facebook, YouTube, and the so-called “fact checkers” all used Wikipedia as their “source.” So when Wikipedia blacklists conservative media, that move ripples across the entire internet, making sure conservative voices are erased while left-wing propaganda is boosted.
Nifty, right?
That’s the bad news, and most of us had a pretty good idea this was the case. The good news is that Larry Sanger isn’t just exposing the rot, he’s now full-on fighting it. He’s rolled out what he calls his “Nine Theses,” a full reform package aimed at slamming Wikipedia’s corruption right in its face.

This is his way of saying: change, or be replaced.
His X thread is impressive and very in-depth. But these are the “Nine Theses” that he’s proposing.
If Wikipedia removes the theses from the platform, they can still be found on my blog. They cannot silence us. They can’t stop us from protesting them and pressing for real change. And if they refuse, consider what’s next.
1. End decision-making by “consensus.” Wikipedia pretends to make difficult editorial decisions based on “consensus.” This is a sham that allows ideologues to silence dissent, by falsely claiming unanimous agreement. “Consensus” must be abandoned as a description of how they actually reach decisions.
2. Enable competing articles. Since true neutrality is impossible under the current editorial monopoly, Wikipedia should allow multiple competing articles written from different declared perspectives, each striving for neutrality within its framework. Let people write alternative articles.
3. Abolish source blacklists. Wikipedia maintains a list of “Perennial sources,” which serves as an ideologically one-sided blacklist of media sources. You can’t cite the New York Post or Fox News, or you, on Wikipedia. The blacklist should be abolished; diverse sources should be cited with acknowledgment of how different groups assess their credibility.
4. Revive the original neutrality policy. Wikipedia must return to genuine neutrality by refusing to take sides on contentious topics, even when one view dominates academia or mainstream media.
5. Repeal “Ignore all rules.” The “Ignore all rules” policy, originally a joke to encourage newcomers, now shields insiders from accountability. I made this rule. I now say it should be repealed.
6. Reveal who Wikipedia’s leaders are. Wikipedia’s most powerful editors remain overwhelmingly anonymous despite wielding enormous influence over one of the world’s most powerful media platforms. These leaders must be publicly identified for accountability (and given liability insurance).
7. Let the public rate articles. Wikipedia should implement a public rating system, allowing readers to evaluate articles, using provably unique human raters from outside the editor community.
8. End indefinite blocking. Wikipedia’s practice of blocking accounts permanently is unjust and ideologically motivated. Indefinite blocks should be extremely rare, require multiple administrators to agree, and face periodic review.
9. Adopt a legislative process. Wikipedia lacks any method of major reform. Because it needs major reform, it needs an elected editorial legislature with real power to implement reforms, established through Wikipedia’s first constitutional convention.
I am nailing Nine Theses to the door of @Wikipedia. This has been my project for the last nine months. There has never been a thoroughgoing Wikipedia reform proposal—this is the first. If it doesn’t work, we need to organize an alternative. 🧵 pic.twitter.com/Lnt6vUmeJZ

Like we said, this is just the tip of the iceberg. You can read his entire thread here.
The truth is out. Wikipedia isn’t an online encyclopedia. It’s a weapon, and it needs to be torn down and rebuilt using Larry Sanger’s nine proposals. Because once politicians and their Big Tech cronies control what people are allowed to read and say, the rest of the tyranny comes really easily. Larry Sanger just sounded the alarm… Wikipedia is the world’s biggest censorship machine right now, and it’s time to light a symbolic match and start over.
